Main item to haul was a VERY heavy wood entertainment center. They knew what to do - took out all the shelves and took the doors off which made it manageable to carry. (Note: a heavy-duty hand truck would have helped). Finally: Negotiated a good price, less or equal of some others I had called. Discount given for cash payment. I can't say enough about Marco and his crew. If you want someone who picks up the phone when you call or returns a call when you leave a message, courteous and helpful, is about SAVING THE CUSTOMER MONEY... this is the hauling company you want. It is important to mention, I needed the junk to be hauled in less than 24 hours, and I was not able to be at my house during their business hours. Since I wasn't technically moving but needed a leather couch moved to my place from another, I didnt want to pay the minimum moving cost moving companies are required to charge. I had a big pile of broken cement in my courtyard from excavating an old patio. A few days later, he had two guys come out with the truck and by hand, they removed all of the debris and rubble from my courtyard, carted it away in a wheelbarrow, and loaded it onto the truck. Hard working, good guys and great service! We had tanbark on our front yard that we wanted removed, these guys came and helped rake, shovel, and clear it all. We filled up about 3/4 of the truck with that and some other junk. They charge by the truck load and if you mention that you found them on yelp they charge 50% less on labor. read more

Hire a local business like I-Haul for your next junk removal project. Marco has been in this industry for years and he is set on making his customers happy. I was immediately impressed with Marco's responsiveness and ability to make changes around in his schedule to accommodate my needs on a Sunday. He sent out a stellar crew, Dannie and Robert, to remove shrubs and junk from our home remodel. I wish I took before-and-after photos because they cleaned up our garage in an hour. It was quite magical because the garage mess disappeared in the blink of an eye. We can now park our cars in the garage, a huge bonus! Things to note: appliances are an additional fee for removal and they do not take paint cans. Although I did not have any mattresses or box springs to be removed, I believe there is an additional fee for that removal, as well. I-Haul removed our yard trimmings, junk that was left behind from previous tenants (clothes, small furnishings, sporting equipment, housewares), carpet, old doors, and recyclables. We thought about renting a dumpster but that would mean hiring a crew to remove the junk and waiting for the company to pick up the dumpster bin when completed. I want that dumpster bin out of site and out of mind. I-Haul was in and out in no time, and saved me all the hassle of getting a dumpster and hiring a crew. Dannie and Robert make a great team, and they were very respectful, honest, and professional. I hope I don't accrue junk like that again, but I'd choose I-Haul again in a heartbeat. After a terrible experience with a national company, I called the local business, I Haul, to remove a large amount of yard waste. It was a challenging heap of dried juniper bushes and other tree/bush clippings. Danny returned my call within an hour and was able to come by mid-morning to provide an estimate. He was polite and offered a realistic estimate of both the labor time required to put the waste on the truck as well of the total "load" it would constitute (1 and 1/4 load). He consulted with Marco and we agreed upon a price. With his co-worker Nick, the job was complete mid-afternoon. I appreciated their courtesy and diligence.
