This is one of my all-time favorite brands. So much attention to detail (Jil Sander Navy-esque mini…read morebrand markers). and designer styles at affordable prices - although this season (winter 2018) way too closely resembles Gucci 2016. Sylvian Heach is a Napolitan designer. Every year the company releases fur coats and fur-trim vests and jackets. If that's not your thing, I fully understand; I don't think foxes and bunnies should die to clothe us, either. But if you're into that and don't want to pay thousands, Sylvian Heach is where you go. The store experience is also something else. The more pricy items are supposedly on the ground floor - quite opposite Zara, which places its sale items on ground floor to increase turnover. No, at SH, you give every piece you pick to the salesperson. This feels very personalized. And Nouha - she's good. Lethal on your wallets good. Either way, I left a happy camper with lovely finds. Happy to guide fellow Yelpers this way :)

Located in a former 18th-century convent, the space blends the warmth of a home with an eclectic, cosmopolitan sensibility. It’s a destination that invites pause and discovery — a place where browsing comes with a cup of coffee and a sense of wonder. Founded by Uberta Zambeletti, the boutique reflects her diverse creative journey — from textile design at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art, to roles as designer, stylist, and art director for brands such as Missoni, Max Mara, Etro, and Pinko. Her vision is rooted in the belief that luxury isn’t defined by price, but by meaning, uniqueness, and feeling. Wait and See offers a carefully curated selection of womenswear, accessories, jewelry, stationery, and vintage finds, all sourced internationally. The store also doubles as a gallery, hosting exhibitions and events that further express its lifestyle-driven philosophy: La Vita è Bella. In 2022, Uberta published her first book, A Stile Libero, offering reflections on fashion and life that echo the store’s ethos. Wait and see.

It's definitely more conservative classy but perfect for work or more dressy events. We purchased a number of items in store because the quality, fit, and winter/new year prices were good. There is a NYC and an online presence for this retailer so do check out their catalog. I personally like the fit of their coats, scarves, and dresses. Many pieces say dry clean but I typically cold machine wash and flat line dry with no issues. The fit is slim so allow yourself room or double-check measurements.

Coming from the US, Zara clothes actually end up being a way better deal, even in euros! But anyways, I loved my visit here at this store. I have seen a lot of the same clothes here at the stores in Paris & London but at this Zara, they figured out a way to make these clothes seem way cuter & catch my eye. I actually found myself picking up and trying on clothes that at other stores, I simply just looked at on the hanger and walked away. I even bought a few tops and bottoms lol. I would totally come here again!

I guess the July sale began YESTERDAY, so all the good stuff got bought- either that, or, they just don't have a good selection in general. Spent about 2 hours rummaging through racks and racks of size 42/44 clothes, and found 1 nice black Velvet long sleeve dress, 1 sexy Fisico black summer dress, and 1 KAOS denim tight dress. Cute, but not the designer name brands I was looking for. If the sale only started yesterday, there should've still been SOME stuff... Ugh. Regardless, there was helpful staff and well-labeled racks, something that, as an avid thrift, vintage, and second-hand shopper, I am appreciative for.

Il Salvagente is one of the best design outlets, and it's completely within easy transportation reach in Milan. It's two floors of gorgeous Italian and international design, from the big brands such as Moschino, D&G, Max Mara and Celine to smaller local brands. You'll find everything from big gala dresses, amazing shoes, hats, bags, scarfs, shirts, skirts, casual wear, coats and jackets - there is also a decent mens section that Ulrik loves to ransack. Whenever I go to Corso Como, I spent at least 2-3 intense hours going through thousand pieces of clothes - I went a week ago and managed to buy the most beautiful Max Mara winter coat for just 315 euro and gorgeous wedges at a bargain price of 70 euros. Ulrik covered his entire winter sweater demand with just 350 euro! The place is large (not American large) and still, they've managed to squeeze in a lot of clothes and stuff in the space available. And the quality and selection is so good that I've never had the displeasure of walking out empty handed. I just love this place :-)
