Icecream was good! I got the matcha one, honestly didn't really taste like matcha at all but the chocolate add ons made up for it :)

Fruity Pebbles

5 Stars for quick, delicious, and inventive rolled ice cream! We were looking for a late night sweet treat recently and found I CE NY in downtown Baldwin Park. It was one of the few places still open, along with the cigar bar next door. The line moved quickly and we ordered the cereal milk rolled ice cream and chose the fruity pebbles option. The ice-roller was clearly very experienced because he flew through our orders and we got them quickly. The flavors were spot on and the cereal added a really nice crunchy texture to the rolled ice cream. We really enjoyed it! Overall, a great, quick option for inventive flavor combos to fit any sweet tooth!

Really cool, unique spot and ice cream. The shop is in the middle of Baldwin shopping area right by the lake where you can go for a walk. If you've never been they have a one of a kind system to freeze and make the ice cream which you can watch. Prices are a little on the higher side but it was good, not too sweet and had a good mix of toppings. Only minor complain is I asked and ordered an ice cream sandwich and didn't get one. Worth a try.

I typically get one of the vegan premade popsicles which are still a delicious treat. It would be even cooler if I could get toppings mixed with something non-dairy, but maybe it doesn't freeze well? Anywho, the employees are always so sweet & patient. I assume they get kids in changing their minds all the time, plus they had to deal with me asking questions (diet related). I felt no pressure. They quickly made my kiddo's donut icecream. Cute & Instagram worthy as ever. It looked delicious & she ate it before I could even ask for a bite. It came with donut holes on top. The decor is simple & cute with multiple backdrops for pictures. The best part is this is located just by the lake in downtown Baldwin Park! Outside & inside seating available.

This is an experience ice cream it's about how it's made in the presentation more so than the actual ice cream itself, which is tasty and sweet and well presented. The problem is the cost. I spent $20 on two ice creams. Granted bells and whistles and labor it makes sense but what should be a cute cheap treat was a little more than o bargained for.

Cereal Milk w/ Cinnamon Toast Crunch

This is a cute little ice cream shop located on the main strip in Baldwin Park. There's been a lot of hype about rolled ice cream over the last few years, and admittedly, this was my first time trying it. The concept is really interesting and fun to watch, though I can't even imagine the forearm workout the employees get on daily basis just from mixing the ice cream. Mine were burning just watching them, haha. I ordered the cereal milk combo which had pieces of cinnamon toast crunch in it. I think I was expecting frosted flakes to be an option, similar to the the famous cereal milk ice cream in NYC, but it was still pretty tasty. They start by pouring the liquid ice cream on the ice cold metal slab and mix in the toppings while finely chopping them up. They then spread the mixture into a super thin layer as it begins to freeze. Lastly, they scrape the ice cream off the slab with a metal spatula turning it into little rolls that they place in a bowl and add the final toppings/sauces. I'm actually a fan of the rolled ice cream texture since I prefer my ice cream to be a bit more firm rather than soft and melty. The experience does take a bit longer than your average scoop shop, but it's definitely fun for something different. Overall I wouldn't mind giving it another shot and trying a different flavor combination.

Vietnamese Coffee

Severely disappointed. We went to ICENY after eating dim sum on Colonial. Was looking for a unique treat. I yelp'ed some options and rolled ice cream was a novelty we haven't tried yet. So we went for it. My kids were excited. The mix-ins, the ice cream and of course, watching the roll was all part of the allure. My boys kept it simple, chocolate ice cream with one mix-in. Fruit loop and Kit Kat on the other. Vietnamese coffee for the adults. My 9yo son face presses onto the glass with amusement. The pour, the mix in, the chopping, then the rolling. One huge problem... There was a hair stuck to one of the rolls. It was hard to miss, the server kept going. I had to tell her "Um, there is a long hair in roll #3 there. Could you please toss that and make another batch?" She then proceeds to apologize, she throws always roll 3 and makes a separate single roll. I was shocked she didn't throw away the entire batch and give us a whole new set. For some reason, we carried on and my son was still very excited. She gets done, we pay and the boys proceed to jump in, head first into the ice cream. About three small spoonfuls in.... We found another hair. We brought it up to the same server. She asked if she wanted us to remake it, at that point there was a line of 8+ people, so I tell her we wanted a refund. The disappointment in my sons face for not being able to enjoy his dessert was saddening. For a dessert only place, you REALLY have to get it right. For my son to walk away from this store without a huge smile on his face is a misstep. In my opinion, desert is a luxury. As a consumer, when you're spending your hard-earned money for a luxury it should absolutely meet, if not exceed your expectations. I hate giving one star reviews. But if this experience wasn't it, I don't know what is

There have been many improvements since my initial visit four months ago. They now have vegan options for a buck extra. I CE NY also now strips the plates of the excess ice so now the rolls have a creamier texture. They have unique flavors like Ube and Lychee. Keep in mind each one is made to order and if there is a line you may be waiting a bit so you won't be able to enjoy your rolls if in a large group at the same time. Service isn't the friendliest but also not rude. Other than that it's nice that they heard out the review and improved on making the rolls themselves. There's nothing worse than eating straight up ice or not having an option for the cruelty free peeps. I usually never agree with charging extra for the having a vegan option but having something is better than nothing. Overall it's now an option for an after school treat!

Great option in Baldwin Park! First time having rolled ice cream and it was definitely tasty! We will be back to enjoy the outside seating and quality ice cream!

I don't know how I will ever have a normal ice cream cone ever again after this experience I want all my ice cream rolled now ! Yes ... I've been spoiled thanks to I CE NY Baldwin Park. Watching them make it was awesome and eating it was even better! Very creamy and smooth and takes longer to melt (in my personal opinion) which I liked. We got an Oreo and a create your own strawberry.

Best ice cream concept yet! I love watching them roll the ice cream. I chose to create my own but they have so many amazing options to choose from. Great place to take the kids after a long week for a treat.

Cool spot in Baldwin Park, flavors are good as are the mixes, Think Cold stone Creamery but the ice cream is made into thin rolls.

Chocolate Dream

It is a sweet retreat! This place specializes in crafting visually stunning and deliciously sweet rolled ice cream right before your eyes. The flavors are rich and imaginative, each serving is a perfect balance of creamy texture and intense sweetness, making it a go-to for anyone looking to indulge their sweet tooth. The atmosphere is simple and quite minimalistic, the service is great!

Love the wall art.

Way over priced (which you would never know because they don't have prices up) for average ice creame. 9.50$ for rolled ice cream is wild

One would think a menu with labels like "gluten free" or "nut free" or "vegan" were accurate - unfortunately, with this establishment, they were careless and inconsistent. At most respectable establishments the servers ask about allergies. Maybe that's just a California thing (where I'm from)? This whole place is California-coded that, hey, maybe incorporate that in your best practices like restaurants IN California actually do. I can agree that, to be extra cautious, someone may mention to the server about any allergies. However, if you have dishes labeled with nut free, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, etc. you would think that you could trust the menu. Sadly, you CANNOT trust this establishment to hold true to what's labeled. Vegan? Sorry - the sauce might actually have butter. Vegetarian? Oh sorry, those beans were cooked with ham hock. Nut free?
