After coming across this highly rated & reviewed privately owned shop, i gave a call and I felt relieved at the type of service driven, professional and attentive response I recieved. I'm definitely coming back and and a sold customer at this point! I tried giving 20 stars but the review board wouldn't let me lol oh well, five it is i guess

I called the day before to make sure they had the tire size I needed, then I limped my car the 15 miles to the shop. When I arrived, I was told it would be an hour. No biggie, so I sat and waited for it. The front lady was super nice and personable, and the shop was small but very clean and organized. I was honestly terrified it was going to cost a fortune, but thankfully they are extremely reasonable on their pricing. I figured I would need a new tire (I was right), and the cost was very competitive. It took almost 2 hours in reality, but I was pretty happy with the experience. My one complaint was that the tire pressure wasn't checked on my car. I guess I'm spoiled with tire shops also making sure the other tires are in good condition. I had another tire that was about 4 pounds lower than it should be, but they didn't take care of it when it was in. I do understand they were busy, but I figured they would check. All in all, I'd visit them again for a new tire, especially for an emergency such as this.

Avoid EC Auto Repair in Elk City, OK. We limped in with a…read moreblown turbo and were met with confusion, severe incompetence, and shady pricing. The issue was obvious, yet staff struggled to diagnose it, couldn't handle basic information, and entered our diesel truck as a gas V10--then wondered why parts didn't match. We were quoted $2,800 with no clear itemization. When we supplied our own part, labor mysteriously jumped from $180/hr to $248/hr. They also tried to tack on $300 for an oil change, another $300 for unnecessary fuel treatment, and a questionable $98 "shop fee" they falsely claimed was required by Oklahoma law. The promised loaner vehicle suddenly turned into a rental once we pushed back on pricing. At that point, we decided to do the repair ourselves--it took about 12 bolts and basic tools. To top it off, the owner became aggressive, attacking me while trying to get my keys and called police while we were finishing the job. The officer was professional, but it says a lot when police are a regular presence there. Bottom line: Disorganized, dishonest, and hostile. This shop appears to take advantage of out-of-town customers. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else. Every local we talked to said to steer clear of this over priced and shady place.

Reception over there recommended Shannon and his family. No mechanical damage. But the left front was just about dragging on the ground. Couldn't go any further without someone kind of pushing the guts back in and getting it buttoned up. And that they did. Great job. We were able to finish the trip to the coast, and then drive all the way back to Jersey without a single issue. Many, many thanks to Shannon, his wife and Cameron their son. And, friggin reasonable. God bless middle America. They got us rolling for the cost of parts, pretty much. Back east they would have gone in on us with both hands. Would have chewed us to pieces. Bu they were decent and showed us heart in our need. Can't thank you guys enough.

My own auto insurance coverage, The General, made everything ao much more painful and unnecessary than needed to be and i was very much feeling lost with this horrible experience. By word of mouth, I heard that Shannon's shop did amazing and has been going strong for years on years and that theres never been a known complaint about the way they conduct business, treat you like a human being, I felt heard and understood, and i felt that they took extra steps to communicate that in a way that i could appreciate. I can say that they were the light in my dark situation and I'm definitely a fan. I never EVER felt like they weren't giving 1000% to put me first, from Valerie at the front desk whos stayed after hours several times just to make sure she got the customers concerns documented recorded and contacted, to her family and Shannon who was nothing short of personable relatable and forthcoming, to those behind them that work their magic to bring it together. I felt nothing short of comfortable and well taken care of. They completely changed my experience of what I was currently going through and now I'm also a fan for life.
