Parking was secure and private behind the hotel, checking in was easy and the staff so professional and welcoming (even for non-French speaking folks like me) and the rooms were absolutely perfect. Oh my goodness, what a little gem we found by chance. Traveling with my family and we had become…read moretried if being in the car so I did a quick search for somewhere to stay up ahead with a nice atmosphere and good food. Well I'll be honest I didn't read more than two reviews say the food was good and room comfortable. Star rating was high too so that sold me, and I'm so glad it did. Such a little find! Private gated parking leads you into their lovely garden which is over looked by some of the restaurant, in a very large conservatory with a huge log burner heater. Then up to the rooms, not small or large but very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Excellent continental breakfast, all fresh not like the frozen brought in stuff you usually get, some of the best jam and marmalade I've ever had - which is an odd thing to say but it was superb! Now let me get to the dinner, it was as much as the room (which was quite cheap to be honest we were surprised considering the standard), a choice of two levels of eating. Super fine dining or more bistro. We were blown away, everything was so delicious, wine was excellent, staff were attentive but not annoying, just divine. So much so my husband said thank you for the surprise, as if I'd been planning it! Will definitely revisit, on purpose this time.

She complained about my key use and how the hotel was running out of keys because I had three extra keys. I paid over a thousand dollars in this place for my six day stay with two rooms, and some unhappy employee was trying to make me feel guilty about these cheap plastic key cards. Get a job you love and stop taking your discontent out on paying guests!
