This is one of the best hotel pools I've ever been in (minus Vegas hotels). I loved the cool modern color-changing lighting not only above the pool, but also inside the hot tub! There was a lounger bed-type seating in the pool with jets and two cascading waterfalls. Plus, there was a steam room and a sauna. They provide robes and sandals as well. The pool was heated too, which was awesome, but the hot tub definitely could have been warmer. Our room was nice too, complete with a fridge, microwave and even a stove top! We had brought our dinner back to the room, so it was perfect! We had silverware provided and there was even placemats! The staff were helpful and spoke English. The bartender even opened up a bottle of wine we had brought back to the hotel.

Parking in the courtyard, plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Definite recommendation. The owner told us the hotel is mainly visited by business people during the week and my cyclists and motorcycle tourists on the weekends. Insider tip: from end of November until Christmas (check exactly dates on internet) there is the third-largest Christmas market here in Montbéliard. A great reason to stop off here!

The rates are the best I have seen around. The hotel is a bit far from Basel, maybe around an hour by train. But definitely worth the trip if you compare prices to Basel hotels which start at $350 a night.

The amuse bouche was bone marrow with mushrooms. The salad was colorful with an amazing mustard vinaigrette The beef was atop peas and pearl inions with the most amazing sauce. The chocolate dessert was simply the best !! Merci Beaucoup pour un repas incroyable!
