Enjoyed three very solid nights at this establishment in early October. Very friendly proprietors;…read morehelpful with travel recommendations; superior breakfast; and nice setting out of the overactive center of town (but just a 10 minute walk to a dozen eating places). Rooms were large, comfortable, elegant and rustic in the burgundian tradition. Take the option to have dinner prepared one or two evenings: four courses with wines and exquisite personal service (and Carla Bruni in the background) was only about $30 U.S. per person. Best of all, this town is a gem in its own right (its in all "the most beautiful books"), but very close by car to Vezelay, Fontenay Abbey, Chateau Bussey Rabutin, and the Chablis region. If you stay here, take some time to relax on the terrace overlooking the forested stream just behind the property, and take in a walk the the parks nearby.
