I never realised that there were hotels that still used metal keys to get into the rooms until I arrived at this one. Okay, it is in Dunkirk and there actually isn't all that much at Dunkirk so I'm not surprised that this place was pretty trashy. In fact after hearing the third person go to the concierge and ask if there was anything to do, and the response was that there was a nice restaurant down then street (which was basically the only place open in a short walk from the area) then it pretty much summed up the place. Oh, and don't get me started on the fact that I was charged for the room after I had already paid for it, and I still haven't heard from them about the refund. Personally, unless you are a WW2 enthusiast then there is nothing in Dunkirk, and even if you insist on going there, don't stay here. read more
