The windows are quite thick - double paned glass that blocks out the outside noise and keeps the room insulated quite nicely. The bed is comfy, and while the room is not so spacious (typical for a French hotel) it is clean, comfortable and quite dark at night for those like myself who require a dark room to sleep in. The shower is great - full pressure, large rain-like shower head and good blow dryer for hair/body use. Hotel staff members are quite nice and most of them speak english, and a couple of them speak spanish. While I encourage everyone to try and learn key phrases and sentences to use while in France, it is comforting to know that the hotel staff are multi lingual, especially with the english language. I'd opt to skip the breakfast at the hotel and just head out to explore the town as there are plenty of places to eat as long as you are not there on a Sunday/Monday as quite a few places are closed those days. I would stay here again should I find myself in Chartres again.

Not a good experience given the cost of this hotel! Across the street from the train station…read more(noisy!), no on site parking (had to drag luggage from public parking lot) and would not turn on the AC or fan so room was stuffy and too warm! Opened the window for some relief but then their was loud talking and screaming until 2:30am! Mentioned it to staff in the morning and didn't even get a discount or complementary breakfast. Checked out after one night. Do NOT recommend!!

Il comporte plusieurs studios meublés, loués comme tel, au jour, à la semaine ou au mois, avec une pièce principale, un coin cuisine, une salle de bain/wc. Le tout en plein coeur de Chartres : près de la Place des Epars et à 10 minutes à pied de la Cathédrale !

L'été, comme nombre de Chartrains, vous pourrez vous désaltérer à la terrasse bercés par le son de la fontaine monumentale de la Place. L'hiver, ce sont les petits prix qui font de ce bar un lieu de détente.
