Please note four stars in the town and not four stars compared to anywhere else.
I ended up with a deluxe room by the pool and spa that i didnt use while my coworkers stayed in the upper floors in the main building. My room was clean, modern, and comfy, and there is absolutely nothing to complain about within. Although these ground units are hard to get to with a rolling suitcase since its paved with gravel, it was better than having to lug my suitcase up three flights of stairs had i stayed in the main building - actually the front desk did do that for me, because they didnt realize i wasnt staying there at first.
anyway, even though there is an attached michelin mentioned restaurant, it was not opened and there is no room service. it's about a 10 minute walk to the town center and there's no other food surrounding the restaurant.
Their breakfast was 13 EUR or something and was reallly terrible. Only sweets - an array of vienoisserie, toast with jam, sweet cereal, yogurt/fromage blanc. the only non-sweet item is a hard boiled egg where they ask you fi you want one and will bring you a cold one. The juice is all concentrated.
its likely one of the best places to stay if you have to be in the area, just dont expect much.
