Actually this review is as much about Beaujolais as for this hotel, but the hotel itself is well located to tour the area. Fleurie is one of the more complete of the 10 AOC villages, as some of the smaller ones have few places to stay. The area is underpriced and not widely visited as most people want to taste Grand Cru burgundies further north. Good luck with that. Here the wineries are small family operations and visitors are welcome at most of them. Breakfast buffet was fine here but the center of town is a short walk. Wine bars and restaurants for dinner in town. Good. read more
