Great space with nice lobby. Games and bar. Breakfast was good, but only egg option was to boil your own egg and took about 15 minutes for a soft. Room is good with decent AC. read more

Higly recommended - Very comfortable and welcoming hotel We…read morespent a very comfortable night in this hotel. It's in a great location, we were two minutes away from the bars and restaurants around the central square and were very pleasently surprised to find a the cratère theatre which is just across the road and seems to have a great number of plays. The breakfast was a buffet with french bread and croissants and delicious local jam. It was very good value and the people were friendly and spoke english.

The first night we'd underestimated the time it would take us to get here and didn't make it in til about 8:30. Since we were supposed to get a free dinner we were concerned we might be too late but the nice young man manning the desk and kitchen had waited for us and served us a very nice dinner of salad, pasta and dessert, made on the premises. My three friends and I stayed in one room during our stay and while it was a bit cramped it was a clean, comfortable room with modern decor and fixtures. We learned that the AC was not available during non-summer months so we just had to leave our windows open, which, while not ideal, ended up being OK. The hotel has a nice open courtyard with tables and chairs, and some comfy couches around the perimeter. There was also a small pool but it was overcast and cool during our stay so we weren't able to make use of it. The included continental breakfasts had a nice assortment of items and the service was friendly and accommodating. Also points for good WiFi. My only beef would be that the main part of town was over a mile away, which can be a bit of distance when walking, especially when coming back is mostly uphill. But we found the hotel to be satisfactory overall and appreciated the helpful staff. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Cute and comfortable with good service, but not that convenient to town.

The pool is the most spectacular part with incredible views. The decor of the hotel is clean, modern and chic, a nice contrast to the ancient hilltop town. We loved the ease of the staff and the two hotel birds at the reception desk that they let us pet and play with. They offer free bikes, a new spa and the restaurant is fresh and beautiful. It was fun to hike down from the town on a foot path by the cafe to the vineyards below and a short car ride to experience the amazing aqueduct Pont du Gard. It was a great place to relax, especially by the pool in the afternoons!
