The view of the rooftops from our room on the top floor was superb, and we were lucky enough to have windows on two sides to create a nice cross-breeze. Breakfast was the most diverse hotel breakfast we've had all trip, including a good automatic espresso drink machine, and cook-your-own boiled eggs (FYI: a perfect soft boiled egg is 4 minutes). The elevator is laughably small, but does its job. The same can be said of the parking garage. It's secure, but super tight. We fit our Renault Scenic "SUV" without a scratch or ding, but do take your time. The rooms are small and clean. Wifi worked seamlessly although it was annoying being forced to provide my personal info "as required by the state". None of the other hotels do that. Pro tip: Enter through the parking lot on Rue du Guichet to avoid the busy street outside.

Great service! The room was very reasonably priced and good value for money. Nothing fancy, but it was exactly what we needed (ie. cheap, good and close to town). The front desk was very helpful in giving us recommendations for restaurants within the walled city and other information about Dinan. The location is perfect - just a stone's throw away from the center and its many restaurants and activities. I absolutely recommend the hotel's breakfast that includes croissants, bread, yoghurts, fruit and homemade jam. While I was there I was lucky enough to try the grapefruit jam (a revelation!) and a reine claude plum jam.

I'm no expert on all the lodgings in the area, but Hotel De La Tour De L'horloge will likely suit your needs. It's a small boutique hotel right in the heart of the medieval town of Dinan. The building is old but the decor doesn't fall into the cheesy touristy category, which is nice. The owner serves a quality breakfast and is quick to make recommendations in several languages on things to do/see, details helpful if you're not a native speaker (or even if you are). A few gotchas to know about: -The clock tower, which is a block away, chimes every 15 minutes from 7 am until 10 pm (I think). If you're annoyed by this sort of thing or a light sleeper, don't stay here. -A third of the rooms are on the 4th floor. That's 60 steps with no elevator so you will definitely work off that crepe you had between meals. -The train station is a solid 15 min walk through town. Not really a big deal but something to be aware of if you're lugging a heavy pack. -There is no dedicated parking on site. There is a public lot not far away, but it seemed fairly full and had several restrictions so may not be hassle free.

Il y a même la possibilité d'avoir un service de chambre. La possibilité de louer un des deux studios équipés est une particularité du lieu.
