Since then I have had several of the staff cut my hair and everyone has done a great job but Adam is the my long-term favorite. Service is impeccable and the atmosphere relaxing but hip. Over the past year I have been trying to grow out my awful blonde highlights / color. I had a very messy job from The Hair Bar in MOOD Stockholm - the highlights bled all over, so I had orange spots, they used bleach and processed under a heat lamp which caused massive breakage all over - the color was inconsistent, the highlights were inconsistent - it was a mess. I had decided I never wanted to color my hair again... Then it began to look offensive, so I went to Rapunzel of Sweden to ask what they could do - I requested all over color close to my natural color to grow it out, but they advised against as it would turn out in different shades due to the various shades of blonde grown out highlights all over my head. She ended up doing blonde highlights only on the top portion of my head, so the growth is not very visible when my hair is down - she did a fantastic job! The highlights are perfect, the color and tone is perfect. She took her time, she did not process me under a heat lamp and did not use bleach. I am super duper happy and will continue to get my hair done here. She also cut my hair to perfection :)

Since I'm a designer I do tend to "judge a book by it's cover" a bit when it comes to the places I give my patronage. I think this salon's "cover" and content were both great! The name, the products (Original Mineral--Australian & organic), the logo, interior decor and even the stylists are so adorbs! How could I not give it a try? I'm super pleased with this place! My stylist, Malin, was really kind and friendly. She did an awesome job of talking me through the process the whole time--referencing what she was doing and why. She didn't just hijack my head like i've had happen once or twice in the past. All I can say is.... AWESOME! She hit the color I was looking for spot on! She even put cute little curls/waves in my hair before I left just for kicks. This place feels like a somewhat refreshing contrast from other salons I've been to around Stockholm. I find that the places i've tried have usually either been very fashion forward and a little cold/pretentious or more of a simple un-luxurious kind of place. I think i've been looking for something a bit more fun like Peach for a while! It's still trendy but feels warm and girly too! The only downside to this place is that they are booked up solid at the moment. You have to make your appointment two months in advance, but I can definitely see why! They do a great job and I will be coming back. I have already made my next appointment! Tip: They have a champagne day once a week (which, I think is on Friday afternoons... but, double check!) Try to schedule your appointment then if you can! Tip: Apparently, I'm told that they get to emails a lot faster than returning calls lately (since they are so busy.)
