I didn't try them again until they made a pizza flavor for the fair. The worker was rude but the ice cream tasted great. Fast forward to the hype of the chocolate chess pie and I feel like they could be my favorite ice cream in the area. I really enjoyed the Nov flavors and the January flavors were intriguing so back I went and they did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed the pb cookie one. And as a holdover from Nov, the Apple Cider Sorbet is amazing. So fresh tasting.

I love the flavor offerings; I think they really push themselves to make creative ice cream flavors and I really appreciate that. I always get a flight because I love to try out their rotating "guest flavors" which change monthly. The staple flavors are great too and the Blackberry Hibiscus is my favorite. The staff are always super nice and service is quick. As for the interior, it's an ice cream shop so it's not glamorous. I'm not a huge fan of the harsh fluorescent lighting but I do appreciate that there's a really nice and very large outdoor seating area out front. Plus we live close enough to take our ice cream back home when it's too cold outside. Check this place out if you have a craving for ice cream! Guarantee you'll find something you like.

Our family LOVES this Ice cream shop! We popped in there this evening to try the guest flavors for…read morethe month of April! They were all fantastic, as their ice cream flavors always are! The Peanut Butter Rocky Road was to die for! My daughter enjoyed the Strawberry Toffee crunch- you wouldn't think these flavors of strawberry and toffee would go together- but they were a match made in heaven! The Mr. had his standby favorite- Coffee Bourbon, which he tells me is always a stellar delight. With the outdoor tables there is ample seating, and the string lights make the ambiance both family friendly, and somehow romantic for a date at the same time. You will see families of different sizes, multi-generational, and couples on dates. Leashed dogs are not only welcome, but encouraged. The service is consistently good, and it is clear that these folks enjoy their jobs! They take their time answering questions about flavors, allergens, and flavor combinations, and still manage to move the line rapidly. Check out Two Roosters! If there's a wait, it's worth it. If you find yourself visiting rather than picking up ice cream from the grocery store, don't blame me! It's that good!

"Childhood memories"…read more This is the ice cream I remember growing up. The flavor was spot on, the texture delightful. Service and ambiance were good .... but back to the ice cream. Just a really good product. In my opinion, they use quality ingredients and don't employ shortcuts. We tried because we were in the area (I'm on kid patrol and Family Matters) I was pleasantly shocked and will be back soon! Ice cream: 4.75

I had Citizens Pops at the annual Food Truck Rodeo in Downtown Raleigh, NC, and it was amazing…read more There were so many people walking around with the popsicles it sparked me to want one. The server was really nice and knowledgeable I couldn't decide which popsicle I wanted and she help me choose. She said that the pineapple was popular but she liked the lime mint and that's what I went with because it sounded extremely refreshing. The popsicle was soooo delicious. It was refreshing and just enough of mint and just enough of lime. The popsicle was so good that we went back and got a second one this time the strawberry + cream and that one was just as good. My husband and I wondered if we could buy them from a store. Overall great popsicles, refreshing and perfect for a hot day.

Tried for the first time today after being told that I MUST try bubble tea…read more Upon entering I was immediately greeted and asked if it was my first time there. It was, so I was given a tour of the shop and was explained on how the "system" worked. I decided to order the Mango flavor bubble tea, as bubble tea was my intention for the visit. Though I was very tempted by all the yummy yogurt options, so I think a return visit will be very soon!!! They had some wonderful fresh flavors of yogurt and even some odd ones that still looked tasty, like Taro. Huge and I mean HUGE selection of toppings! Anything from candies to chocolates to nuts to granola. A bar full of fresh fruits that all looked perfectly ripe and fresh. And then another section where you could add syrups and powders to your yogurt. My bubble tea was made to order, I would have loved to have seen them make it in front of me just to see the process. They make it in a back room instead. They had several flavors to choose from such as Mango, strawberry, coffee, green tea, taro and several others that I can't remember. They also make bubble tea smoothies, but they suggested I try the original for my first time. As for the bubble tea, yumm!! It's sweet and creamy and cold! Not too sweet, you can tell its just sweet from the fruit. I would have liked it to be a touch colder but maybe the smoothie style would satisfy that for me. The tapioca balls at the bottom make for an eye catching drink. They don't have much of a flavor but are fun to chew slightly and swallow. I also wanted to add how NICE the staff was!! So welcoming and lots of smiles!! I loved that! The store was spotless! Everything clean and fresh looking. Not a drop of sticky anywhere!!!! Lots of seating including outdoor seating which will be nice on cool nights. Good work citizen yogurt, I shall be back soon!!

What a treat I enjoyed when Andia and her husband George were at the Triangle Food & Wine…read moreExperience last weekend at The Exchange. She has such a wonderful personality and knows her ice cream. I was one of the first to enjoy her Gluten free Coffee ice cream with chopped up chocolate-covered espresso beans throughout. Then George took the cup of this delicious ice cream and torched it for a brulee finish. Amazing, indescribable, and I will be back for more soon kind of flavors! I have since checked out her flavor options and kick myself for not visiting her shop soon over at Iron Works. It is so close to where we live in downtown Raleigh. No more excuses. We are heading there this weekend for a Valentine's Day treat of one of her many boutique flavors. Plus I love that Andia truly cares about the Gluten Free population and offers so many wonderful-sounding flavors for them.

We can in for milkshakes…read more.. My wife and I stop by Andia's Ice Cream for milkshakes on a Saturday night at 7:30PM but, unfortunately the menu on the wall had sold out stickers on them. We decided to get ice cream in waffle cone since we couldn't get the milkshakes. I got the Cookies N Cream in a waffle cone My wife got the Cotton Candy in a waffle cone. The cookies N Cream was good but, the waffle cone was not. The waffle cones are the "softer" ones, i was expecting the classic crunchy waffle cone. I just ate the ice cream with a spoon out of the cone. The cotton candy was not good. It tasted like sugar free ice cream. Same thing with the waffle cone as I previously wrote. The service was great! The ambiance was nice. Not sure if we would go back, our favorite ice cream shop is in Durham and I would prefer to drive 30Min to that place. I would rate Andia's ice cream shop 5th in the Raleigh/Durham area for ice cream. *I would say give it a try I may love it.
