I had seen fantastic residential work and so requested a bid for our commercial project. They did a phenomenal job. First, his prices were surprisingly very competitive. He seems to smartly reduce his business overhead and apparently transfers that cost savings to his clients. His office is super cool yet run very efficiently. This is the boring, yet obviously very important, consideration. Second, and far less boring, the design process was fantastic. We went through countless revisions, and he never got frustrated with our indecision (as in most projects I suspect, there was plenty!). He also worked perfectly with our interior designer and made sure to keep things organized and always worked as the voice of the owner. With so many moving parts, this was key. I was very surprised we were able to stay on budget because we had many requested changes. I believe Chris viewed failing to hit the budget as his own shortcomings. This mentality alone is worth a premium and makes his competitive pricing even better. Finally, we hired an independent Project Administrator who did not perform well and ended up leaving the job before it was finished. Chris, put countless hours into the project to keep things moving and absorbed all the responsibilities of the PA without causing any delays at all. In the beginning I would find myself so overwhelmed until I realized Chris was always on top of it. Eventually, I was able to focus on business operations with complete trust that he was handling everything. Bottom line, I could not recommend RedHouse Studio enough. I had very high expectations, and he far exceeded them. He's a professional that views each project as his own. He clearly loves what he does, and he made the experience exciting and fun.

I'm familiar with this industry & GPD has it together. From the building down to each employee- everything is top notch. The building, itself is absolutely gorgeous. Amazing marble & decadent pillars. 3 elevators to choose from so you're never crowded. There is a reception desk for assistance right in the main lobby- directly across is a nice little cafe w/ a variety of selections + full bar. The upper levels are a bit more "industrial" in design, but totally fitting. A clean, modern white theme w/ some popping, cool accent lights. Full, glass office walls & sliding doors make it feel even more open. You'll find the bathrooms cleanly & spacious, next to an actual full kitchen! And of course there is a reception desk right as you exit the elevator on GPD's floor- immediately greeted. Each department has their own respective area. There isn't a specialty they don't touch on. In-house engineers, project management, design, infrastructure, etc... the team I had the pleasure of interacting with were passionate and ambitious! The event was complete with an amazing mimosa + make your own Bloody Mary bar, table full of brunch bites & great conversation amongst team members & guests. It was a pleasure meeting others in the industry & learning about their current projects along with the company as a whole. Absolutely everyone made it feel like a wholesome community. You can see there is great passion here in every aspect. No cutting of corners & genuinely open to share their expertise. Here's why: We really wanted it to look like it was designed with the rest of the house, not just tacked-on later with no thought or care. Enter Mark Kearney. He had worked on a relative's addition and she raved about his work, so we had him come over for a chat. He walked around the house, taking pictures from every vantage point. We had warned him that our home was in a pine forest and we wanted NO trees to come down, so he shoe-horned his design between the trees. (The builder kept his chainsaw in the truck, hoping we would change our mind. We didn't.) Oh, and ours is a steep lot. Oh, and we needed matching skylights. And on, and on... We were, probably, clients from hell. Or at least our parameters were. Now, three years later, people drive up our driveway and ask if we just built the house. NOT if we'd just added on. It is perfect. I don't use that word casually; from the addition, you don't see the house, and from the house, you don't see the addition. That was completely Mark's idea and execution. There is not another home like it on earth and we are supremely pleased with his thorough, masterful design. There is no way I can overstate my admiration and recommendation of his services.
