We walked into the Food Hall section of this Department Store. Loud and busy at 3 on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a couple of Cappuccinos from the Coffee Wine Bar. Came with a piece of chocolate and they did have a choice of Lactose free milk. Coffee hit the spot. We shared a savory Crepe which was filled with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and Pesto. Tasty and just the right portion. We saw a few other stands-Asia Deli, Patisserie, Seafood Bar, Indian, and Art of Burger to name a few. Service from both stands was fast and friendly. We went up to the third floor and did some browsing. Store was busy also and most likely because most stores/shops are closed on Sunday. That said, the best part of the store was the Food Hall.

They had a big selection of chocolate at a variety of price points. This was in the middle of the shopping area and near the train so it was crowded. Lines moved fast and staff were helpful. There's multiple levels underground and it's super tight. Be good and have a small car or walk like we do. I N S I D E There are multiple floors of varying goods. First floor is food and groceries. You can get fruits, veggies, pastries, cooked food, wines, cookies, chocolates, charcuterie, cheeses, you think of food, they have it. They have these mini walnut sausages that I've never seen anywhere else. They're expensive, but we treat ourselves to it whenever we're here. Second floor is a mish mash of things but mainly beauty, so lotions, hair dryers, perfumes. Next couple floors are clothing for men and women of course separated one for men one for women. Then there's toys and stationary and luggage. I'm always looking for the next NICI plush and always drawn to their cuteness Then electronics where you also have Manora their cafeteria style food court though we seem to always be underwhelmed with the pastries we get there. O V E R A L L It's an all in one department store with grocery and cafeteria. What more could you ask for? I wish we had a Manor in the US cause I'd be there all the time.

You just get the hand held device as you enter, scan your Migros card, then scan your items as you put them into your basket (but if you put it back remember to remove it from the scanner!). At the check out scan the bar code, hang up the scanner, bag your items, and pay. So cool! Love technology. Haven't had any issues with the scanners, and they have people to help you in the self check out area if anything were to go wrong.

There isn't a single thing you need that you can't find here. We were lucky to be staying next door to Manor so we visited here a few times. Manor is FAR nicer than a Macy's, but must more reasonably priced than a Nordstrom.....and it comes with a very lovely, warm feel throughout. I could have spent many, many hours here, but settled for just one....suitcase space is always an issue! Nice quality, lots of variety, easy to navigate. Check it out!

Unfriendly sales staff told me they don't have a dust cleaning roller and they can't do anything about it! It's sad how unmotivated and disaffected looking sales staff is badly working for company! The clothing store is in the bottom part of the store and in my opinion, is equivalent to a Target, or possibly a hut if an upscale Target with decent prices and good selections. I visited 3 times while I was there visiting and each time, I left with some cute piece of clothing. In the back of the store is the home area with things such as towels and bedding. Up the escalator near the back right area of the store is where you go to get to the grocery store. They do have a good variety of things although most of it is in French, although there are some American products. They have a great selection of cookies too! Exceptional wine inventory although I had no clue what I was looking at to purchase. I did ask one person for help but he did not speak English. Make sure you have a decent translator app on your phone. But great dairy department as well! The only thing I found to be lacking was a selection of paper products, such as paper towels. All they had were cheap, small rolls. The carts used for groceries are the basket type you pull with a handle. But great store all the way around and it was nice to find most of what I needed. Hope this helps. Oh and they do have several locations. I probably will sadly never get back to Annecy, but if I do, I will know right where to go!
