There seems to be a constant sale on at the moment where you can pick up some bargains for work wear but shoes and hand bags remain quite expensive. There's only limited choice in the home department and their stock policy doesn't seem completely effective when trying to check with the staff if something is in stock or not. Still, the staff are always helpful and chatty.

It's unarguable, but…read morewith news stories lately suggesting sweatshop links with Primark's products, it's not altogether a good thing to everyone. However if we leave that matter and Primark's official pronouncements on it to one side, we can simply note that this is a good place to go for a basic wardrobe if you're broke. Some of their items, in my experience, are less than fantastic quality (but what do you expect for those kind of prices?) Some are better than you might expect e.g. a lot of their women's shoes are absolutely beautiful. I've also found their women's underwear to be reasonably priced for what you get, and it's always worth checking out their sale rail. Not least because items on it can occasionally generate surprising interest on Ebay.

But, there's not really that much there apart from going to a cafe for some tea. There is loads of clothes shops at J32, but there's only a few of them that are on the High Street, and others are shops which you've probably never heard of before. I'm only rating this place 2 stars, but that's maybe because I'm used to seeing the High Street shops.

Located just across the road from the fabulous Xscape, Junction 32 is the more shopping oriented venue out of the two, offering an array of discounted shops, in the form of Christy's, Gap, Gaggie, Whitard's, Nike Factory Outlet, Rockport, LaSenza, Monsoon, Mango and Mexx to name but a few. Once you've walked your feet off following the square layout of the place, there's a Starbucks to indulge in, but as Starbucks' go, this one isn't that brilliant, Thornton's Cafe, Subway, BB's and some others to recoup and gather energy back to the core. But if that doesn't just do it for you, wander over to Xscape as there are plenty of food facilities over there. Massive car park, so if you've climed into your motor vehicle, there's no worry about finding a place to park, and it's free too, nice little bonus. Open until 8 on weekdays, it's been a life saver on occasions where work doesn't permit leaving until 6pm, and everywhere's shut.
