So driving by this location I really said to myself I needed to ask if they could ice pack some treats to take back. They had a sign on the window for fresh crab as it was in season. So I decided just to get two crab legs (it's lots of work) as a nice appetizer and some fresh Matane shrimp. The shrimp was $12.49 a pound but. I asked if fresh and the store owner said "oui Monsieur". So I got a small amount of both and was able to eat the crab when. I returned and the shrimp for the next two days with no issue. Both were very fresh and super tasty! Definitely I'd return when in RDL. If you want fresh Seafood in the Rivière Du Loup area it's a great option. They gave me a small bag of ice that worked well in my cooler to keep it fresh. Good stuff!

I highly recommend this place if you consider yourself a foodie or just love trying out new things. You won't regret it!

The wine card is short but nice, they're mostly private imports. There's a communal feeling to the whole thing as everyone arrives at the same time and eats at the same time. Every course comes with a thorough description of the ingredients' origins and how they were prepared. It's also a good deal for what you're getting/discovering. One thing they could work on is the dining area: the chairs could be upgraded. I never say this but we were somewhat uncomfortable throughout the evening.

Stopped here for lunch and got the salmon tartare and clam chowder. The tartare was a decent size and fresh, with a nice pasta salad and thick fries. The chowder was thick and creamy. Both were a bit pricey for the portion size, but tasty and fresh so you won't regret it. Restaurant or market, this place definitely does seafood justice.

I picked up a sheep cheese for lunch I made a sandwich of it with some bread I had from a different shop. Excellent! I highly recommend stopping here and bring a cooler an ice pack so you can take a number of cheeses with you I like that they had smaller sizes so you don't have to have this humongous piece of cheese that goes bad. They had a good selection and I hope to return and try more cheese!!!!
