Place is very clean and set up perfectly. They have accommodations for so many events or parties. The food that was prepared was all made with the best of love and skill. Would highly recommend if you are looking to visit the area you have to stay here you will not be disappointed.

The pictures online absolutely do NOT do it justice. Our family of 3 (2 adults and a teenager) spent EIGHT days at this B&B and the location was beyond expectation! This place is a nature lover's dream. We listened to red wing blackbirds, cardinals, and great crested flycatchers sing to us from the trees. A Momma turkey brought her line of tiny babies out to walk across the yard several days in a row. Little boxed turtles scuttled across the yard. Deer popped in and out, frolicking around the property throughout the day. We watched a bald eagle sit in the tree nearby. Fish would jump in the water, herons would dive in and kayakers and small fishing boats went floating by. The pool was beautiful and immaculately kept. We stayed in the two bedroom Roosevelt retreat. It was beautiful! Beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. The shower had cascading upper showerheads and mid level jets (similar to a high end luxury spa I once visited in Arizona). There was a jetted tub, luxurious shower products, comfy robes and slippers. Rooms were made every day and we were left mints on our pillows. What we loved even more than the beautiful location was the owners themselves. Paige and Mark felt like family by the end of our stay (the kind of family you LIKE to spend time with). They were incredibly generous, thoughtful, and kind. We found ourselves lingering over breakfast with them because they were just such lovely people. They made suggestions on restaurants (including the half price fish and chips!), places to see, things to maybe avoid. Watching them in the kitchen was like having a personal chef for an amazing breakfast every single morning. Everything from eggs benedict, breakfast quesadillas to a traditional English breakfast - never the same thing twice. On our last day, Mark asked our son if he had any special requests and our son opted for a second round of Frank Sinatra's favorite breakfast sandwich (who knew - but it was AMAZING!). They even wrapped up our leftover breakfast food each day so we could snack on it later. They offered hot coffee and orange juice every morning. We also had access to coffee, tea and various tasty snacks throughout the day. I ate way too many yummy brownies and cookies, and my son inhaled Paige's banana muffins. She even made an extra batch so he could take some home on the day we left. This was Southern hospitality and high class luxury at it's finest. Everything about this place was top notch. It was actually HARD to leave because we loved Paige and Mark and their little slice of heaven so much. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Beautiful weather in mid October made for a wonderful weekend getaway for our 20th wedding…read moreanniversary..  Peggy warmly greeted and checked us in followed by a property tour. The building was quaint with each room tastefully decorated with cool and funny schoolhouse memoirs.  Well kept grounds included a pool, vegetable garden, vines and bicycles, with close proximity to local restaurants and shops.  We enjoyed the balcony for Schoolroom #4 every opportunity we had. The claw tub bath/shower provided a functional look into the past while the outdoor bath  provided a unique treat of showering under the stars. We ordered the wine and flowers package and were delightfully happy to see that the flowers were beautifully arranged in a vase in our room.  And the wine chilled upon arrival just begging to be enjoyed. Our gourmet breakfast was sparse but tasty with fresh squeezed OJ.  And dinner hosted by Chef Meseret was exquisite dining at its best.  She loves cooking and it's reflected in her dishes. .. every item was fresh and flavorful with the generous crab cake entree a show stopper.  It was all crab.. no fillers, just a bit of egg to hold it together. We had an enjoyable weekend and hope to explore the area more on another visit.

He hesitated, but then let me do so. I thanked him profusely for letting me use the restroom. I went on my way and got in my car 30 seconds later I was exhausted by this gentleman who proceeded to tell me how inconsiderate it was of us to come to an establishment in the park in front of a business. I however, did not know that we were parked in a space that was not appropriate to, but more than that. I was shake it. He knocked on my car door and proceeded to berate me for parking in front of a business establishment. He said he hoped that I would come back. I'm not really sure what he meant by that nor would I ever come back to a place where I was scared in uncomfortable. I can't really say anything about what he served or anything he did, but I will reiterate that it was so inappropriate of him to knocked on my car door. It scared me to the point where I thought about it any hours in the day.

Another Memorial Weekend in the books for us at the Oyster Farm Marina…read more If they could only invest some money and effort in updating and maintaining the bathroom facilities (most specifically the ladies room), then my rating would be significantly better. The ladies bathroom is so dark when you walk in - it does not have the same light and bright coastal vibe as the rest of the marina. This contrast is also difficult visually. Last year are main problem was not having actual shower heads in the stalls. This year, we had no hot water for our shower on Sunday morning. When we checked back in the afternoon and evening there was still no hot water. Despite the bathroom facilities, the rest of the marina is nice. Kids riding their scooters up and down the piers makes for some non-relaxing sounds on the docks. The pool was not in working order, either.

It's a beautiful spot to visit and is considered part of the large Bay Creek complex. It is under that umbrella and is considered a part of the HOA and various other amenities offered by the complex. There is a gated community you'll drive past with colorful beachfront homes on the left, once you pass that you'll arrive at the Marina parking area and a large grassy field to the left houses a farmer's market during the summer with a few dozen tents with local vendors selling cookies, produce and some arts and crafts. We've visited a few times and sometimes it's very sparse and only has a few tents but during peak tourist season it usually perks up. The restaurant at the Marina doesn't seem to keep the same hours and def. doesn't have the same service and menu it had when it initially opened. They village has closed and no longer houses any shops - those have all moved to the town - it's now an event venue space that can be rented for weddings and they have several cute little colored and themed cottages on site that can be rented as part of a weekend wedding event. There is a small general store that sells some drinks and fishing supplies as well as a surprising amount of On Cloud branded gear for about half off. We love to browse this when we come to the area. It's not a spot I'd recommend for a nice dinner or hanging out as it appears to be very quiet and there isn't much going on here if you aren't fishing or boating from the Marina or here for a specific event. It is beautiful and clean and well kept.
