Amazing birthday weekend 2 night stay here for my husband. Nothing but the best. I wish we get a chance to make the most out of the included amenities (s'mores kit, free wine, free birthday dessert) but we were out exploring Seattle so we didn't have the time. The room has a superb view of the lake and the Boeing planes being constructed. A big shout out to Chloe for a very warm welcome and for making sure we had the best stay possible from the start. Thank you Chloe you're a rockstar. Being a discoverist and loyal to the Hyatt brand we got an upgrade and a higher floor, they took care of our dogs having a bed and bowls available already in the room. Everyone we encountered are very nice! It was my husband and I first time staying here and in Renton and we were blown away. Wishing we could've stayed a little bit longer so we can try dining in at the restaurant. We will be back again in the summer!

Our first time here in Seattle, and this Hyatt is so beautiful! I am blown away from the scenery, the open windows that showcase Lake Washington! Wow so amazing! Customer service was on point, checked in no problem. They require $50 hold on your card for accidentals! It's Valet Parking overnight for $47, there's also self parking for like $28. I have yet to try the Market downstairs. This place is so nice, I might take a stroll by the water! I highly recommend the stay here!

Nice hotel with great view. This place is great hotel either you come alone/with partner or come with family. It's by the Lake Washington water. There is firepit that you can simply chill at the deck or burn some smores. Smores are provided by the hotel for guests between 6-8pm and free wine 5-6pm at Water Table. Staff are friendly. If you are an active family, there is park right next to the hotel. It has volleyball beach court, barbeque pit, etc. Summer time is great to be here too. It's not only there's park next door, but they have music & drinks at the deck; winter time is great too!

I had the most amazing experience at this hotel last weekend. I got into town a bit early and popped in to see if my room was available. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely the hotel was decorated for the holidays. They had a couple of eloquently decorated trees and there's a couple places that they've set up photo ops. It was very nicely done. There's a walking path behind the hotel that leads to a little beach that would be great in the summertime and there is also a playground for the kids. There's fire pits and chairs on the dock that overlook the water. It's very serene back there. I'm not sure who handled my pre check in but she was so friendly. She went over all the things that the resort fee covered, parking, and a few other hotel details with me. I let her know it was my birthday and asked her if there were any upgrades available. She said she would be able to upgrade me to a water view room and that they would text me when the room was available. I got the text about an hour or so later which was still a few hours before the normal check in time. When I got back to check in they let me know they had upgraded me again and this time to a king corner room with a lake view. This room was beautiful and the view was amazing. The room has tile at the entry and has coat hooks right by the door to keep from tracking rain into the room. This is a nice touch in the PNW. The spectacular view stole the show but a close runner up was the bathroom. The deep soaking tub was exactly what I needed to relax after a long day of travelling and the water was HOT. The bathroom also has a separate standup shower and a vanity that was perfect for getting ready. The bed was very comfortable and I really enjoyed laying in it and looking out at the lake in the morning. The wine bar and the other bar both close kind of early but Water's Table stayed open later. The bartender that night that waited on me that night, I can't remember his name, was very attentive and he made a mean drink. He made sure my glass was never empty and checked on my often. I had breakfast at the same restaurant in the morning and my waitress, whose name I also can't remember, was so on top of it she should win an award. She wasn't too attentive but I didn't feel like she forgot about me either. She joked with me while filling up my coffee and was really personable. The coffee was pretty good and the food was ok. I got a simple breakfast but the brunch items looked like they would have been delicious. I chatted with the ladies at the desk during my check out and even talking to them it was like I had known them for a long time. I don't remember everyone's name who helped to make my stay extra special but Alexia, Emi, Siti, Maxine, the bartender, and my waitress all at breakfast deserve a big shoutout for being so good at their jobs and going above and beyond to make my birthday stay extra special. I don't think that I will stay at any other hotel in Renton after the experience I had here.

The best hotel with 2 hours free parking, hot food, snacks, beverages, indoor pool, beautiful lake, restaurants, park, beach and more. All within walking distances. We had so much fun here.

This hotel deserves more than an overall 3.5 star rating! My company offers a discounted rate but the hotel was gorgeous. I was lucky enough to get a room on the 12th floor with lake Washington views. The rooms were large, clean and I didn't have any issues with sound. I also arrived hours before check in and was able to get a room from the kind and accommodating staff. They have a nice restaurant and Starbucks onsite as well. I recommend spending a bit more money for club access so you can take advantage of free breakfast, snacks and happy hour.

Fabulous location with views to die for. The walls are thin and as the hotel started to fill up for the holidays, we could definitely hear our neighbors next to us and above us. The s'mores every night are a nice touch - even just for a snack if one doesn't actually go out to the fire pit. Our thermostat did not work. We like to sleep w/the temperature at 67. We had the thermostat at 64 the whole time and it definitely was not 64. We slept w/the window open. The beds were extremely comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk when we were checking out at 4AM was extremely pleasant and patient w/a couple of questions. I didn't catch her name she looked like Meryl Streep and had a poncho style sweater. Lia was also very helpful and pleasant. Overall amenities still feel newish.

Great quiet location. Friendly staff upon check in. The property is very clean and as a Hyatt Regency during week some sort of conference event was being held. Room was spacious and clean with a view of the lake, they upgraded us which I love about Hyatt. I would return to this property if I don't need to stay in Seattle center. It's not far from SeaTac and about a 15 min drive to Bellevue Downtown. They have a very nice gym and indoor pool with hot tub. Visited this property in November and would imagine it's nice to stay during the summer months.

Staying here was a wonderful experience from the valet to checking in to our suite and then breakfast! Our suite was incredibly nice, with a separate area to work along with a spacious shower, and a pretty sweet view of the Boeing hangar where they assemble aircraft. The room was very quiet and didn't hear any "neighbors" or hallway noise. When walking down to the lobby and through the back door onto the lake view was pretty spectacular. I loved how we could leave the hotel and walk along the lake and through the park. The breakfast was next level. I got a Benedict and my husband got the French toast. All was perfect and our server was super sweet and attentive. Oh, and the cappuccino was one of the better ones I've had.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport for an L&D and DEI conference and I wasn't anticpating much from the hotel. It far exceeded any expectation I had. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and kind, the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and all of the food is superior. Throughout the entirety of my stay I was consistently impressed by the taste and quality of the food. Great job, Hyatt! I can't wait to get the opportunity to come back again and sit on those beautiful Adirondack chairs on the dock!!

I'm a flight attendant and we are lucky enough to stay in this gorgeous hotel. I'm currently on a three day trip and have been talking for two days leading up to this overnight about how I love this hotel, specifically the rooms with a bathtub (they're huge soaker tubs). When checking in, I talked to Gage at the front desk about my excitement to relax and enjoy. He went out of his way to find a room with a bathtub with a lake view (it's beautiful) for me. He then went the extra step of sending up bath salts, a robe and slippers. As a tired mom who travels a lot and stays in a LOT of hotel rooms and has a feral toddler at home, this gesture of kindness is why I will always suggest this hotel to friends and family traveling to the Seattle area. The hotel is clean and in a wonderful location and their market that's open 24 hours has a great selection. But a personal thank you to Gage- this tired mom's personal hero. 10/10 recommend.

A beautiful property right on lake Washington. The check in was seamless & no line.. The market has so much to offer, coffee shop and fresh food they make there for purchase. A large selection of beer and wine plus little snacks for late night! The gym is state of the art with ample space and has a sauna in the men's locker room.. one of the nicer hotel Gyms I've been too.. tons of weights including benches with full racks The room is spacious and very nice and new.. feels like the pacific north west! Wood decor and nice spacious rooms with ample channels The bar downstairs has a heated tent for the winter. Great atmosphere but drinks were 14+ so a little pricey for the area Finally, they have a Christmas light display in the back next to the hotel it's a very cute area with a seafood restaurant/ bar! I recommend heading over there it's free to see the lights & starts at 5pm

Can you swim in the lake from here if you're a guest? Like off of the pictured pier or similar? If not, how far to swimming spots?

Not off of the pictured pier. It's about a 1/2-3/4 mile walk to Gene Coulon park where they do have swimming during the summer.

    Is there free parking?

It depends. There’s free 2 hours of parking with a validated ticket in the garage. There’s free two hour parking along the road. If I recall there’s free parking on the weekends. But during the week it’s like $17/day for self parking and much more… Read more

This establishment has clean and fairly comfortable accommodations (bed was a little stiff in my opinion). Bathroom was fairly large and clean, though there was photo of a coffee cup above the toilet (which I found oddly hilarious!) One star knocked off because there is not enough lighting in the center of the room, and the ac can be loud (again, hard of hearing, so not an issue for me, but I'm thinking of you lite sleepers here). Like all Hampton Inn's, they have coffee and tea throughout, in addition to breakfast in the A.M. I appreciate the rotation of food! Other Hampton Inn's keep the same food on repeat, little rotation if that. This one, however had sausage gravy and biscuits one day, and hot links and eggs another. State of WA "OK" placard in terms of sanitation, so that is reassuring. Everything was "okay", except the sausage gravy was no joke STRAIGHT salt; I think they forgot to add water. Shame. I love sausage gravy and biscuits... Anyway, service both reception and breakfast area was friendly enough, but not over accommodating. Not very many parking spaces, but it is an Inn and its mostly secured. Walls are a bit thin if the parties outside are loud. But again, ears don't hear well.

It's a bit confusing if this review is for the neighborhood? Do we review neighborhoods now? And it is for all intents and purposes a neighborhood. There's one road in and one road out with the Hyatt, the Bristol, Tra, Peyrassol, the Seattle Family Center, Dock and Drink, and Water's Table filling out the portfolio. It is very pleasant with Coulon Beach Park next door and excellent viewing of fireworks when that resumes. With the parking garage there's plenty of parking though I cannot stress more than ever do not leave any valuables in sight in your vehicle. Southport may be isolated, but that isn't a deterrent for thieves. Personally I'd recommend parking where there's foot traffic since the upper levels are vacant I've only seen smashed out windows at those levels. And it is a pleasant place! In the summers it is busy. The water is so close and the views amazing. I love the four restaurants. It can get loud, and with the exception of a few incidents in 2020 due to people being angry about the mandates at the time it is a very safe space where families, dog walkers, and cute couples gather. Many a wedding takes place in the warmer months so it isn't uncommon to see beautiful gowns and fancy tuxedos, though I'm partial to the Indian weddings since the guests come in beautifully colored saris. There is a lot of diversity at the waterfront and that makes it a wonderful place to be. The winters can be busy too with Coulon Beach Park putting up lights for the holidays and Argosy cruises bringing the Christmas boats by. I always appreciate the carolers. I only wish people would acknowledge the road properly. Drivers ignore the speed limit signs, occasionally just stop in the middle street, or try to double park. Pedestrians often aren't much better because though there's a great sidewalk that connects the docks to the Bristol running up to Coulon Beach Park they'll just walk down the middle of the road like it's a bike path. I have seen a few close calls with pedestrians almost being hit because they're walking down the road instead of the sidewalk. It is a great area.

There's a door on the left hand side that you can only access with your room key; that door can be useful if your room is on the northern half of the inn. Checking in was simple. Brittany (sp?) was the one who checked me in and gave me a brief overview of the hotel from the free breakfast to the housekeeping every other day as well as mentioning that a card would need to remain inserted in the slot by the front door in order to keep the lights on in the room. When I got into my room, the TV was on to welcome me to Residence Inn. There weren't any issues with my room after my inspection and also taking photos to add to this page. However, one of my groupmates did mention he had to switch rooms due to the toilet not flushing. He showed me video of that so I could see it for myself. Housekeeping is done every other day, so during my three-night stay, housekeeping was only done once. One of the desks in each room has a sign reminding guests of this policy. There's another sign on that desk that has a QR code where you can leave tips for their hardworking staff. There is free WiFi and breakfast for guests of this Residence Inn! WiFi info is posted at the front desk where you check in. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM on weekdays and 7 AM on weekends. Each morning I had breakfast, they had scrambled eggs in the first heating well, but the three heating wells after that would vary. One had meat patties one day. One had breakfast sandwiches another day. There were some potatoes on one of the mornings, but I'll never forget the pork bacon on my last morning. That's only because the rest of my group went to get breakfast elsewhere, but I stayed behind to get not one, but two helpings of the pork bacon lol. Breakfast also includes the usual suspects like bread, bagels, fruit, yogurt, milk, and a juice machine. I was satisfied with the quality of the breakfast, and they even had some coffee in front as well. For some reason, I couldn't pour any liquid out of one of the dairy pitchers. One of the staff members notice me struggling with that, and she showed me that the lid was rotated the wrong way. After she rotated it, I was finally able to pour some liquid into my coffee. In addition to coffee, they also have dispensers for decaf and hot water. They do have a bar in the same place where breakfast is held, but they also have a food menu per state law. On my second evening there, I went down and ordered a barbecue chicken flatbread. Actually, I would have preferred the barbecue pork, which was $1 less, but I guess they didn't have any of the pork left? But I was more than willing to try the barbecue chicken knowing that is California Pizza Kitchen's signature pizza. Initially, they prepared my order to be eaten at the bar even though I would have preferred to eat in my room instead; the staff happily obliged and even offered me some utensils to go with my takeout box. Shoutout to the bartender, Brianna, who told me she used to live close to where I live now in SoCal! I also appreciate how they were willing to hold my luggage until I was done with work that day. However, when I tried to check out of the hotel on my last morning in Renton, there was no staff present to check me out. It took a minute or two before Geoffrey (sp?) checked me out, which was as simple as handing him my room keys. I didn't even need to say my name; all I had to provide was my room number and a preference for receipt delivery. I requested for them to hold my luggage until I returned later that day, and Geoffrey provided me with a numbered tag that I needed to return to get my luggage back; I don't know what I'd do if I were to lose that tag. I returned later in the afternoon where a couple of different front desk agents struggled to get my luggage back. It took them a while to figure out where my luggage was, even after I mentioned Geoffrey's name. Luckily, it didn't take much more than a few minutes before I finally got my luggage back. Overall, it was a decent stay at Residence Inn, and I can see why one of my groupmates recommended it. Bed was comfortable, and so was the sofa. No issues with the bathroom either, but the clock on the microwave didn't show the correct time. It was off by an hour and a few minutes, likely due to Daylight Savings Time.

This is a modern boutique-y design and not the older apartment concepts based residence inns. It's close by one of the Boeing facilities with one of their railways running by the hotel and around 15 to 20 minutes away from Bellvue/Redmond based companies. Parking is ample but a bit crowded. Hotel staff is very nice, professional and somewhat helpful. They were not able to answer all my touristy questions but were able to answer important ones. The breakfasts are typical Marriott fair and they do have a bar/restaurant that runs to 10pm most days.

Throughout our stay, other guests brought strippers from across the street into the hotel and had extremely loud, aggressive intercourse all night while blasting music. We called the front desk four separate times, and each time we were told there was "nothing they could do" about the situation other than asking them to turn the music down. Police were called to the property twice within a single week, which says a lot about the environment here. The front desk staff were consistently rude and dismissive. When we checked out, we were met with nothing but attitude, as if we hadn't just given this hotel a full week of business. Safety was also a major concern. There were unleashed dogs roaming the hallways, and there was even a dog fight on the top level during our stay. The parking lot felt extremely sketchy, with suspicious cars lingering. At one point, we witnessed a couple fighting in the parking lot, and the man drove off with the woman on the hood of the car. The entire property smells strongly of smoke and cigarettes. To make matters worse, when we first arrived, there was a used toothpaste tube left on the bedroom floor from the previous guest, which clearly shows the room was not properly cleaned. Between the noise, lack of safety, poor cleanliness, and unprofessional staff, this place was completely unacceptable. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The staff were kind and attentive. They seem to authentically enjoy working there. There was a jacuzzi available for use even in the winter months. My husband and I will definitely be returning to this place when visiting the Seattle area.

"We Are Family" - Nile Rodgers and CHIC…read more I've been wanting to stay at Cedarbrook Lodge for many years but the opportunity never came up until our we had our recent cruise out of Seattle. This lodge was used for our return flight from SEATAC to HNL due to the convenience factor close to the airport. One thing I've learned over many years of travel - stay closer to the hotel if you have an early morning flight out. Don't risk staying miles away driving in traffic, because anything can happen. STELLAR: - Shout out to TJ and Minerva!!! - We were treated with the utmost care and almost like family the minute we checked in to drop off our luggage. We were very early but didn't want to explore Seattle with luggage in our rental car, so they stored it for us. They texted us several hours later to tell us our room was early. We ended up checking in at 10:30 PM because we had other plans and forgot to tell the hotel. They were very worried about us as they saw our luggage still sitting on the floor. They feared we got into a bad accident, or got kidnapped, and all other manner of bad things. Next time I will make sure to call ahead. GREAT: - Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice and spacious! - Quiet and restful. - Very attractive grounds. My plan was to explore but we got back late into the night, so perhaps next time. - Self parking, lot of room! Open-air. - Super close to the airport, less than 15 minutes away. - Complimentary mini Haagen Daas Ice Creams in the common lounge in the freezer (see picture) - Complimentary purified water stations, coffee in the AM and cookies. - Affordable, especially if you book out a year in advance like I did. We paid $274.36 for a Double Queen. - Self park daily $33.00. Other: - We grabbed take out breakfast from Taco Bell down the street for the airport wait. - If you want to have some wine, cocktails or beer, save your money, don't buy any from the gas station down the street, the cost was prohibitive. Buy before you get to Cedarbrook. The Lodge has a cocktail lounge but didn't try it. Amazing lodge with the best service, clean, spacious and quiet rooms on a gorgeous property near SEATAC airport. Return Factor: - Yes, next time will try to enjoy the grounds and the amenities instead of using it as a crash pad.

When I arrived that night I was told that it would be $89.99. i argued back and forth with the husband and his wife (who barely spoke English so they weren't even understanding me). Finally they gave it to me for the price they originally stated. When I go the receipt it said $87.00 as a result of tax being added. What hotel gives you a non-taxed price when you call and inquire about a room? Shady hotels, that's who. The room was absolutely gross, it was obvious that the room had not been updated in the last 30 years. The mattress sagged and I could feel every spring. Also, I'm pretty sure the owners of the hotel live there. I could hear their children playing loudly all night. No wifi and only 13 channels on the old box television. Also the room that was given to me was for a handicap person! I had to hold the freaking shower head the entire time i showered. I have no idea how this place has three decent reviews, I suspect that they are fake. I stayed at a motel 6 the next day for 45 dollars. It was a million times cleaner and had obviously been renovated in the past five years. I should have only paid $40.00 to stay in a place this bad. Also, no microwave or miniature refrigerator.
