A very pleasant stay at the Hyatt Regency Renton earlier this month. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and friendly staff who were welcoming throughout my visit. The location is convenient for exploring the greater Seattle area, and the views of Lake Washington are a wonderful bonus. My room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with cozy beds and thoughtful amenities that made for a relaxing stay. The common areas were inviting and well-designed, providing great spaces to unwind or get some work done. I also appreciated some of the unique offerings, including complimentary evening s'mores, an indoor pool, and an outdoor bar and restaurant that operates on select days. Food trucks appear on certain days for lunch too. The hotel is within walking distance of a park and hiking trails, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors. Another nice perk was the availability of complimentary bicycles, and there is a shopping mall just a short distance away for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The main drawback is the distance from downtown Seattle and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, as rideshare costs can add up quickly when traveling back and forth. However, if you don't mind being outside the city center, the peaceful lakeside setting is well worth it. Overall, I would happily stay here again and would recommend the Hyatt Regency Renton to both business and leisure travelers looking for a comfortable, well-appointed hotel with great amenities and easy access to outdoor recreation. read more

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, DO NOT USE THEIR PARKING GARAGE! My partner and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Lake Washington for one night to celebrate her birthday on 5/30/26. As a Hyatt member, we have historically enjoyed our experiences with the Hyatt. And to be clear, we had no issues with the room -- we had a great stay, right up until we checked out. Upon check in, the front desk let us know that they offered complimentary parking in their underground parking garage, and to park my vehicle on the purple level which had a convenient entrance that led straight into the first level of the Hyatt. We did just that -- we found a spot close to the underground entrance and began our stay. After checking out, we headed back down to the garage to get in the truck and leave. Once I turned on the truck, my partner and I immediately knew something was wrong -- the engine sounded like we had just revved up a motorcycle; LOUD. We drove it out of the garage, and parked outside in the light to get a look at what was going on. Long story short, between 4pm and 10am, someone had gotten into their parking garage and attempted to cut out my catalytic converter, which explained the loud engine noise. They had completely cut one side of the exhaust pipe, and cut about 3/4 of the other side. They luckily were not able to steal the catalytic converter itself. We hypothesized that the person trying to steal it had either gotten spooked, or caught by a potential security guard before they could finish, and had to run off. So, we called the front desk to their perspective on what had happened and to get security camera footage of the attempted theft. The front desk claimed to be unaware that any of this had happened, and had no documentation of the attempted theft in their garage. They also let us know that the parking garage, (the one that connects directly to one of their main entrances), was not owned by them and that they couldn't speak on what we could do in this situation. They said it was owned by the building across the street, and that they would contact them immediately to have them reach out to us regarding the incident. About four days went by, and we had gotten zero word from the garage owner about the incident. I called the Hyatt back to explain this to them -- they again told me there is nothing they could do for us, but that they would reach out to their manager to see about any potential compensation due to our unsatisfactory experience. To this day, we haven't heard anything back regarding that. They gave us the contact information for the building that owns the garage, and told us that we could contact them. When we called the garage owner, they let us know that there are no security cameras inside of the garage, just at the entrance and exit. They also did not care to even look and see if someone had walked in or out of the garage that night with tools to cut out a catalytic converter. This is deeply troubling... anything could have happened inside of that garage and there would be no way to document it. If you are thinking of staying here, BE CAREFUL. Hyatt clearly does not care about the safety of its guest's vehicles, or the safety of the guests themselves, while in the parking garage that they so graciously advertise as a great and convenient perk of staying with them. We are lucky that it was only a vehicle that was harmed, and a not guest of the Hyatt -- if that were to happen, be warned that they are clearly not equipped with any kind of security or surveillance to help protect the safety of their guests. They have done nothing to resolve this for us as of 6/6/26. I am left with a large mechanic bill and a bad taste in my mouth. We are very disappointed in the Hyatt and their customer service, and will look the other way when deciding a hotel to stay at in the future. (Pictures of the damages are attached). read more

My family had the best stay here recently. We came for a 4 year olds birthday because of the awesome pool and huge hot tub. The hotel knew it was our son's birthday and set us up with a sweet card, candy and smores kits to the room. He had the most epic birthday with friends and I truly appreciate Hyatts hospitality. They made his birthday even more special. The rooms were lovely and clean with excellent views of Lake Washington. I highly recommend you stay here which is only about 30min from downtown Seattle but half the price. And of course this place is perfect for families. read more

Amazing birthday weekend 2 night stay here for my husband. Nothing but the best. I wish we get a chance to make the most out of the included amenities (s'mores kit, free wine, free birthday dessert) but we were out exploring Seattle so we didn't have the time. The room has a superb view of the lake and the Boeing planes being constructed. A big shout out to Chloe for a very warm welcome and for making sure we had the best stay possible from the start. Thank you Chloe you're a rockstar. Being a discoverist and loyal to the Hyatt brand we got an upgrade and a higher floor, they took care of our dogs having a bed and bowls available already in the room. Everyone we encountered are very nice! It was my husband and I first time staying here and in Renton and we were blown away. Wishing we could've stayed a little bit longer so we can try dining in at the restaurant. We will be back again in the summer! read more

Customer service was on point, checked in no problem. They require $50 hold on your card for accidentals! It's Valet Parking overnight for $47, there's also self parking for like $28. I have yet to try the Market downstairs. This place is so nice, I might take a stroll by the water! I highly recommend the stay here! read more

Not sure why it's called the Water Table for the Hyatt Hotel but I am reviewing the hotel. Nice interior rooms. Although there is a charge for parking, a pro tip is to park at Gene Coulon Park and just walk over to the hotel if you are just visiting or staying for a few hours. You can rent kayaks, paddle boards and jet skis. I think it's about $30/hr for Kayak's and $90/hr for Jetskis. read more

Nice hotel with great view. This place is great hotel either you come alone/with partner or come with family. It's by the Lake Washington water. There is firepit that you can simply chill at the deck or burn some smores. Smores are provided by the hotel for guests between 6-8pm and free wine 5-6pm at Water Table. Staff are friendly. If you are an active family, there is park right next to the hotel. It has volleyball beach court, barbeque pit, etc. Summer time is great to be here too. It's not only there's park next door, but they have music & drinks at the deck; winter time is great too! read more

PLEASE fix your dock and drink. We've been loyal customers of this Hyatt. I celebrated my 50th at your beautiful hotel, you guys provided the catering and everything. My daughter also had many bday parties here. We tried to support this place as much as possible. Been goin to the dock and drink since the beginning and it's always been great. We came here last night and honestly it was probably one of my least favorite experiences here. Here's what I wrote as my review from last night. "ridiculous ridiculous, waited over 45 min for some "bar food" and when I finally went up to ask about my order they said "we just got it." Get you stuff together guys. This is absolute ridiculous. I had the most amazing experience at this hotel last weekend. I got into town a bit early and popped in to see if my room was available. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely the hotel was decorated for the holidays. They had a couple of eloquently decorated trees and there's a couple places that they've set up photo ops. It was very nicely done. There's a walking path behind the hotel that leads to a little beach that would be great in the summertime and there is also a playground for the kids. There's fire pits and chairs on the dock that overlook the water. It's very serene back there. I'm not sure who handled my pre check in but she was so friendly. She went over all the things that the resort fee covered, parking, and a few other hotel details with me. I let her know it was my birthday and asked her if there were any upgrades available. She said she would be able to upgrade me to a water view room and that they would text me when the room was available. I got the text about an hour or so later which was still a few hours before the normal check in time. When I got back to check in they let me know they had upgraded me again and this time to a king corner room with a lake view. This room was beautiful and the view was amazing. The room has tile at the entry and has coat hooks right by the door to keep from tracking rain into the room. This is a nice touch in the PNW. The spectacular view stole the show but a close runner up was the bathroom. The deep soaking tub was exactly what I needed to relax after a long day of travelling and the water was HOT. The bathroom also has a separate standup shower and a vanity that was perfect for getting ready. The bed was very comfortable and I really enjoyed laying in it and looking out at the lake in the morning. The wine bar and the other bar both close kind of early but Water's Table stayed open later. The bartender that night that waited on me that night, I can't remember his name, was very attentive and he made a mean drink. He made sure my glass was never empty and checked on my often. I had breakfast at the same restaurant in the morning and my waitress, whose name I also can't remember, was so on top of it she should win an award. She wasn't too attentive but I didn't feel like she forgot about me either. She joked with me while filling up my coffee and was really personable. The coffee was pretty good and the food was ok. I got a simple breakfast but the brunch items looked like they would have been delicious. I chatted with the ladies at the desk during my check out and even talking to them it was like I had known them for a long time. I don't remember everyone's name who helped to make my stay extra special but Alexia, Emi, Siti, Maxine, the bartender, and my waitress all at breakfast deserve a big shoutout for being so good at their jobs and going above and beyond to make my birthday stay extra special. I don't think that I will stay at any other hotel in Renton after the experience I had here. read more

This hotel deserves more than an overall 3.5 star rating! My company offers a discounted rate but the hotel was gorgeous. I was lucky enough to get a room on the 12th floor with lake Washington views. The rooms were large, clean and I didn't have any issues with sound. I also arrived hours before check in and was able to get a room from the kind and accommodating staff. They have a nice restaurant and Starbucks onsite as well. I recommend spending a bit more money for club access so you can take advantage of free breakfast, snacks and happy hour. read more

Fabulous location with views to die for. The walls are thin and as the hotel started to fill up for the holidays, we could definitely hear our neighbors next to us and above us. The s'mores every night are a nice touch - even just for a snack if one doesn't actually go out to the fire pit. Our thermostat did not work. We like to sleep w/the temperature at 67. We had the thermostat at 64 the whole time and it definitely was not 64. We slept w/the window open. The beds were extremely comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk when we were checking out at 4AM was extremely pleasant and patient w/a couple of questions. I didn't catch her name she looked like Meryl Streep and had a poncho style sweater. Great quiet location. Friendly staff upon check in. The property is very clean and as a Hyatt Regency during week some sort of conference event was being held. Room was spacious and clean with a view of the lake, they upgraded us which I love about Hyatt. I would return to this property if I don't need to stay in Seattle center. It's not far from SeaTac and about a 15 min drive to Bellevue Downtown. They have a very nice gym and indoor pool with hot tub. Staying here was a wonderful experience from the valet to checking in to our suite and then breakfast! Our suite was incredibly nice, with a separate area to work along with a spacious shower, and a pretty sweet view of the Boeing hangar where they assemble aircraft. The room was very quiet and didn't hear any "neighbors" or hallway noise. When walking down to the lobby and through the back door onto the lake view was pretty spectacular. I loved how we could leave the hotel and walk along the lake and through the park. The breakfast was next level. I got a Benedict and my husband got the French toast. All was perfect and our server was super sweet and attentive. Oh, and the cappuccino was one of the better ones I've had. read more

I'm a flight attendant and we are lucky enough to stay in this gorgeous hotel. I'm currently on a three day trip and have been talking for two days leading up to this overnight about how I love this hotel, specifically the rooms with a bathtub (they're huge soaker tubs). When checking in, I talked to Gage at the front desk about my excitement to relax and enjoy. He went out of his way to find a room with a bathtub with a lake view (it's beautiful) for me. He then went the extra step of sending up bath salts, a robe and slippers. As a tired mom who travels a lot and stays in a LOT of hotel rooms and has a feral toddler at home, this gesture of kindness is why I will always suggest this hotel to friends and family traveling to the Seattle area. The hotel is clean and in a wonderful location and their market that's open 24 hours has a great selection. But a personal thank you to Gage- this tired mom's personal hero. 10/10 recommend. read more

This place took over 1000 dollars on hold from my account as a "mistake" and then tries to assure me that it will be refunded 3-5 days. The guy who helped me seemed very unapologetic and flippant when I told him that's a lot of money to go without. Let's be real you do customer service for a living so I know you aren't rich; quit acting like like not having access to your money for a week when you have to pay bills and living expenses is not a big deal. A beautiful property right on lake Washington. The check in was seamless & no line.. The market has so much to offer, coffee shop and fresh food they make there for purchase. A large selection of beer and wine plus little snacks for late night! The gym is state of the art with ample space and has a sauna in the men's locker room.. one of the nicer hotel Gyms I've been too.. tons of weights including benches with full racks The room is spacious and very nice and new.. feels like the pacific north west! Wood decor and nice spacious rooms with ample channels The bar downstairs has a heated tent for the winter. Very nice, 12 story hotel with parking garage. Parking garage has EV charging stations. The reason I only gave three stars is due to check-in, check-out and issues in the room. Granted check-in area was busy and we were checking in as a part of a large conference group. The hotel front desk did not provide me with the hotel's WiFi during check-in, nor did she provide me with information on pool and spa hours, or computer usage (there were a couple of Apple macs available for guests near the front). I felt her customer service could have been better. Regarding the room: 1) the front desk did not explain during check-in that there's a master light near the front door that needs to be on before the bathroom lights would turn on; 2) someone entered our room without permission, twice during our stay. Our undergarments and clothing were in our luggage but our luggage bags were open. Other items were out as well. It's like going into someone's house without permission. Maybe a better analogy is a landlord entering a tenant's apartment without providing 24-hour notice. The postcard that was left under the door was appropriate and appreciated;however, it would have been great to know the hotel's policy when we checked-in. It's the decent thing to do. We would have put away our undergarments and clothing. Also, the outlets and USB ports on my side of the headboard did not work. I charged my Kindle overnight and nothing. It didn't charge at all. I had to plug it in elsewhere in the room. The front desk rep did not ask me "how was your stay" when I checked out (and I was heading to a meeting in the hotel), so I forgot to ask her. But I really wish she would have asked. All-in-all, the hotel is beautiful with a small amount of wear and tear but it's a nice hotel. Not my first choice for travel but nice nonetheless. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view was amazing. The hotel is near the lake and we saw the Boeing building next door, also private cabanas below and the beautiful lake. read more

Amazing location. It was cool to see the Boeing hangar open as they worked on 737s as the sun set on the lake. Do prepare for mosquitoes during summer season. Used an award stay for this visit and found it to be one of the best category 1-4 redemptions. This hotel is beautiful! The room is spacious and mostly clean (there were a few stray long hairs stuck to the bathtub wall upon arrival). Bed was comfortable and I like that they provide multiple pillows of differing firmness. Easily the nicest hotel gym I've used. Tons of ellipticals, treadmills, bikes and a full free weight rack. They also had machines for chest, shoulders, lats, and a smith machine. Will definitely come back when in the area visiting friends. read more

Had a company business meeting here and they were very accommodating. Pros - beautiful views, right on the water , planes from Boeing are next door - rooms are modern and clean - food was delicious! High marks for the chicken grain bowl , fish and chips, the fries are delicious, oatmeal was hearty and flavorful The only disappointing thing was the hvac system failed during our 2 day event. We moved conference rooms to ensure our guests were comfortable. The hotel took care of us but would have been great if they were proactive and let the front desk know about our move. Also, how about putting signage indicating where our event was as well as a sign on the original room indicating the move. Just seems like a normal hospitality expectation and not one we would have to request. read more

The property is stunning! Really love the natural feel (lots of wood and huge windows that overlook lake Washington). We checked in online and elected to use our electronic keys via the Hyatt App. Unfortunately the keys on our app didn't work for the elevators so we had to head over to the front desk (not a huge issue for us). Joshua helped us and was extremely friendly / helpful. He made us feel very welcomed and answered a lot of our questions. He also noticed that we had a bottle of wine with us so he ensured that someone would send us some wine glasses and a wine opener. When we walked into our room - we were met with a surprise. We were staying for our anniversary and the Hyatt team greeted us w a bottle of Pinot noir and chocolates. What I was really impressed with was the hand written card from the team - wishing us a happy anniversary and welcoming us to the property (really appreciate the thoughfulness). We also had access to the regency club based on the room that we booked and that was a fun experience. The club was stocked with snacks, juice, sodas, chocolates, chips, etc. and comes w 1 adult beverage per day (loved our glass of wine and the views of lake Washington). The property also has a huge hot tub and a pool. Didn't use the pool but did enjoy the hot tub - it was the perfect way to relax / end the day before heading back up to our room. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. I think due to its location - it's a hidden gem. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back again. Cheers! read more

I was recently in Seattle and stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Regency on Lake Washington. When I checked in at the front desk, they honored my "Globalist" status and upgraded me to a corner room overlooking the lake and this rather tall unusual warehouse-like building next door. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The desk area, although a little bit small, but I was able to move over a coffee table to spread out my paperwork. Best of all, being a corner room, I heard no noise of other guests! Loved staying here and I will book another stay for my June visit. I don't recall the last time I ate the exact same breakfast 3 days in a row! However, as soon as I tasted the smoke salmon on the everything bagel at the Water's Table restaurant on the ground floor, I knew I would be back at least 2 more times! The smoked salmon was very tender, nicely seasoned and, as you can see from the photos, a generous amount of salmon each day on the bagel! Regarding the building next-door that I mentioned, I didn't see any markings on the building and didn't realize what it was, until I woke up around midnight and saw through the sheer curtains very large Boeing 737 planes coming off the assembly line! It was the Boeing plant next door. It was really fascinating to see the workers towing those large multi-million 737 Max aircraft out of the building and along the narrow tarmac close to the lake! As it turns out, I had visited that same plant 30 years ago to take a tour and couldn't believe that I got to see it again from a short distance. I found it really fascinating. read more

Excellent Stay!!! We booked our room in conjunction of a company holiday party (yes....that happened) during December. It's a gorgeous property, we had visited in the past, but never overnight. Check-in was a breeze. The front desk was attentive and personable. We learned the hotel was sold out, but it didn't seem packed or crowded. She gave us instructions for the holiday party & vaccine requirements. She also offered the hotel amenities, in case you had forgotten anything. Our room had a peek-a-boo view of Lake Washington, was spacious and clean. Instead of a closet, the room had an open valet/wardrobe area, with coffee AND a hot pot for tea (yes, please!). The bed was comfy and pillow assortment (really, a crucial part of the stay) had good fluffy and feather options. Sidenote on the banquet facility: great service from bar, to buffet, to appetizer-people (is that what they are called?). Really excellent staff here! Also, we asked one server to take a pic amongst the holiday lights and I must say....one of our best pics of the year! Highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely stunning hotel. It was very clean, and has stunning views of the lake. I love their outdoor bar area and available paddleboard/kayaks. While there is a consistent stream of small planes flying about, you don't hear it in your room. I was very happy with how quiet the rooms were. There was only one night I heard people walking around the hallway at like 3AM. The interior design of everything, from the lobby to the bathrooms is gorgeous. Lots of wood, fogged class, etc. I also appreciate the option to self-park which is right across the street from the hotel. It is nice to see the security as well when using your room key to access elevators, I really appreciate that as well. Never did I feel remotely unsafe here. Things I didnt like: Limited, and expensive menu at the bar downstairs. Both front desk staff members I encountered always seemed annoyed at any questions I asked and I was not told about the complimentary drink from 5-6pm each night upon check-in. I ultimately avoided them if possible as it was just uncomfortable. read more

We stayed here for a quick overnight getaway. I really liked the property. Very clean. The employees all very nice as well. We had a suite overlooking the lake. There was a private outdoor force attached to the suite which was unexpected. Too bad it was below 20 degrees. The view looked west to Seattle in the distance. The suite was large and nicely appointed. We also patronized a restaurant in the hotel. Was very good. We will be reserving again. The only hiccup was we waited over an hour beyond check-in time for the room to be ready for us. I understand to a point why this could happen. The thing is we paid for the room from 4pm to 11am and they were cleaning the room on our time. We weren't offered any discount or compensation of any form for this inconvenience. I really enjoy this hotel and the amenities. For the second time I've visited and stayed for a conference and would consider staying for leisure. I have had a standard room with a partial view and now a room with a full view of south lake Washington. Impeccable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. If you can book a room with a stand alone soaking tub, you won't regret it. The food served for the conference as well as the restaurant did not disappoint. What a Great find! Such a beautiful location. Right on the water. At night... Well the colors look amazing. This is for the outside seating by the bar and cantina! Very easy to self seat and just order at the table. However the Website does have technical difficulties. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Thank goodness the drinks are separately order from bar and paid there. So I at least got to drink while I figured out this non working website. I also tried to ask a worker lady about the website and she agreed it sometimes worked. So that was a bummer eventually 30 mins later my other half was able to order. (I have given up on my 4th try) Over it! As far as the atmosphere goes so nice! You can really enjoy the views here! Also what a wonderful place for an event or just a getaway! So much to do around this area! I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did! One day I have to stay in the hotel so I can see how their hospitality is. I am always curious! Until next time. Oh the food. Quick eats outside. Small plates like tacos, chips and salsa, quesadilla, a ceviche. Pretty affordable which was great! Tacos were good. Salsa had a little kick which I loved! Booked a staycation in a ADA executive suite and the view of Lake Washington was stunning. The room was large with a separate living room and bedroom. This space worked out great for us since my wife and I could stay up while baby slept in the other room. An easy walk to The Landing to grab food and do some shopping and next to a beautiful park with lakeside walking paths. read more

This stay went so much better than my last! I was, again here on business and was reluctant when I saw that my company had booked us here again after last year's debacle with the restaurant here. However the manager and team reached out to me prior to my arrival and made sure that I was aware that there would be a room credit for what happened last year and would also note my allergies so that I could eat this time! I was very impressed by that! Check in was way easier, as last time we had one check in person, this time there were two and another came to help. I still don't understand the mobile key and mobile check in on the app with Hyatt, as it's yet to work for me and I find it very frustrating. I love the elevator security here. Although if you tap the wrong floor or middle your floor , you are forced to get off, hit the wall kiosk and re enter the elevator again- a little high tech and not so user friendly. My room was meh and over looking a roof out to the water's edge. Hyatt seems to use the same decor whether it's in DC or LA or here. I also don't love the bathroom layout - the water-closet opens out on the left - the shower to the right and into the sink area. I do love that there is good water waiting and a nice , cold refrigerator. A nice coffee machine with actual creamer! The floor lighting I hate ! I woke up and somehow my lights were all on.. and I found it annoying and odd! That said, I love this Hyatt and its beauty of being on the water in a high end area with a great market place and this time The Water's Edge got it right with my allergies.. I'll review them separately, ( as a side note.. they still won't split checks .. I had a room credit and had to spend way too much time explaining this .. and they only allow parties of 6 at a table ? So our party of 20 was split into 3 tables .. ) Major kudos and praise to Chloe for reaching out before and after my stay to make sure my credit was honored ! :-) See you soon ! read more

Decided to stay the Hyatt. Oh man! I loved my stay at the Hyatt, and a splurge for me. Definitely a self care couple of days!! The front desk was kind and helpful, good vibes all around! Definite recommend!! read more
