i will be contacting a lawyer shortly about the harassment my 54 year old mother has endured while…read morerenting three storage units from this establishment. the manager, Doug, has sent her threatening and belittling texts and emails, called the police on her for being there at night even though it is a "24 hour storage". she works until 10pm, and has no other time to organize her belongings and try to condense 3 storage units down to 2 or 1, because she cannot afford the $490 bill this place charges. She is not a criminal. she is trying to get her life back in order after witnessing her brothers suicide and being forced to sell the home they shared in Petal. Doug has harassed her each time she has gone there for nearly two months now. most recently, she explained to him that the hostile and angry demeanor he gets with her triggers her PTSD, and to please come from a place of compassion. in response, he texted her that she must leave the property by 6pm or he is calling the police. when she did not reply within 20 minutes, he sent her a time update stating "it is now 5:40 pm. you need to leave." both her and I have attempted more than once to get in contact with the owner, with no success. even reached out to the other storage choice establishments, only for her to receive an aggressive phone call from Doug stating she "got him in trouble". though nothing was ever done. if anything, this man has become more aggressive since. no business should employ angry, hateful people as front line employees. this place is an embarrassment, and a joke.
