Walked in to get a scope bore sighted and first thing a guy across the counter mentioned something about my vicious 7 pond yorkie and basically yelled it and embarrassed me so ok i dealt with that then the man took my rifle and spent about 7 minutes bore sighting it and charged me 25 bucks for something they usually do for free ive spent thousands in this place but no more sportsmans warehouse you have a new customer read more

I was riding my bicycle North-bound on Yellowstone last "Black Friday" (I know, don't judge me) when I saw a sign: GUN STORE Therefore, I hung an impromptu right turn and easily found my destination. I found a locally owned shop; I've been there several times and asked a number of questions. Not only have they all been answered from a knowledge-base which rivals my own (a red-neck veteran from Idaho), but I've been treated with utter respect each time. My special one is a liberal (opposites attract) and even she was not treated judgmentally nor disrespectfully. Great customer service, with an amazing staff to help you make the best decision for your gun needs. They helped me with my scope, as it was moving. Had to get new mounts, but it was well worth it. They even bore sighted it for free. A lot of guns for hunting, and other shooting sports as well. read more

Absolutely top-notch experiences with Hux. Got a superb Cerakote finish but the rifle came back with a different charging handle, not the Raptor I had in it. Just my word that it wasn't the right charging handle as they couldn't locate the Raptor. Hux just offered to switch the charging handle out for a new Raptor (purchased two a few weeks ago, one for the AR and the second for a Grendel build. I was really surprised Hux would just swap the charging handles, like I said I had no proof. I haven't found customer service like that anywhere. Hux customer for life, if you want the BEST in terms of knowledgeable staff, parts in stock, getting work on your gun and an owner who really goes the extra mile there's only one place to go. read more

I stumbled on this place by accident and went in looking at prices and gun selection. They have a decent selection but what satisfied me the most is their customer service. I've been to a few other gun stores in Pocatello where they don't say a word to you or even flat out ignore you and Hux was not like that at all. Extremely helpful and knowledgable. Great shop, great prices, Friendly and knowable sales people. My favorite local gun shop.

I had my rifle coated. When I pickup up the gun the coating job was not complete. The magazine floor plate, trigger guard and bolt handle had not been done. When I asked about it, they said that they finish the job when I came back to have the stock coated. The stock is a synthetic black. Now if I had the barrel coated with a flat grey, why would I want the stock coated if it was already black? Why did they not do the job correct the first time. Just a waste of money. read more
