Governor Hutchinson's Field is a park/recreation area owned by the Trustees of Reservations.
A large open field, lined by a rock wall on the Adam's St edge, and by dense tree line around the rest of the park. The field is quite sloped since it sits atop Milton Hill.
Resources include a porta-potty and a picnic table, other than these and a few trees, this park is just an open area with nice views of the Boston skyline and Quincy. I would estimate the field to be at least 30 acres..but this is probably a conservative guess.
No parking nearby, so this field is a walk-in site only.
Not a tourist attraction by any means, but definitely a nice isolated-feeling space for locals to get some fresh air and have a picnic. read more
