The crew did an excellent job removing the tree, and everyone was professional and friendly. Unfortunately, the equipment used during the removal severely damaged about half of our centipede lawn. John assured us that the damage would be taken care of. Later, he told us he was having trouble finding a landscaper, so I contacted two local landscaping companies myself. Both estimated the repairs at around $3,000. A few days later, John said he had found a landscaper at a much lower cost. The new sod was installed, but by the very next morning, most of it had already turned brown. It was also covered with tiny black frogs. We followed the watering instructions exactly as we were told. After eight days, approximately 90% of the sod is still brown and appears to be dead. John told us he paid about $1,300 for the landscaping and gave us $500 in cash for the work I've done trying to repair the yard myself. When I called him after a week to report how bad the lawn looked, he told me there was nothing else he could do. I believe Kari's Tree Service made a mistake by hiring the cheapest landscaper instead of one who would properly restore the yard. While the tree work itself was excellent and John was very pleasant to deal with initially, we're now left with what appears to be a mostly dead lawn and no resolution. I hope Kari's will reconsider and make this right, because their tree service deserves high marks, but their handling of the lawn restoration has been very disappointing.

The Kari team was on time, gave a fair price, and completed downing the trees in less than 3 hours with their equipment with no issues. The grounds were left better than I expected given the heavy pieces and equipment involved, and the tree remains were removed the next morning on time as promised. I highly recommend this firm for tree services. Very satisfied.
