The official newspaper of the Bismarck area, I read a few copies here and there during my time in…read morethe area. The newspaper is owned by a smaller media conglomerate, Lee Enterprises, that is based in Iowa. Good local sports and news, good domestic news, the newspaper even has international news and a useful online edition that is not free. Local advertising is big, of course. Clean, easy to read, only a few typos. Not a thick paper like the NY Times and not a tabloid like the NY Post. I'll continue to enjoy while I'm in Bismarck. [Review 10641 overall, 409 of 2019.]

I have so many nice things to say about this bookstore! 1)…read moreThey have both new and used books; 2) They have a great selection of local/regional authors; 3) They have a small 18+ section (50 Shades of Greyyyyy heyyyy); 4) They have such a great selection of books on Indigenous People and other topics (even Indigenous Comic Books); 5) They have plenty of small seating areas to take a break and browse a few books; 6) You get book vouchers (For every $10 worth of new books you purchase from Ferguson Books, you get $10 worth of a voucher for a used book--great deal, WOW!); 7) They will pay you money if you drop off any of your pre-owned books; 8) They have book bag days, where you can fill a big of pre-owned books for $20 a bag; 9) They have a cute children's area. The deals say it all! Beyond that, it is a cool, unique bookshop in the downtown area. I'll be back!

One thing that I like about this store is that they have several shelves of deeply discounted recently published books. Yes, I'd love to buy last year's best seller for half price thanks.
