This was a frightening diagnosis since I had no symptoms and in good general health for someone 72 years old. Dr. Goldman was kind and caring. He explained to me that receiving this kind of test from a home visit, with the equipment they used, was most likely meaningless. However, to be on the safe side he scheduled a cuff test to rule out the disease. I so appreciated his proactive approach. The results came back as he expected that showed no sign of Peripheral Artery Disease. He send the test results back to my primary care physician. I highly recommend Dr. Goldman!!

New to her field, Dr Panara is taking over the practice of my doctor of 14 years as she's entering…read moreher retirement. For my first experience with this new practice, I placed a call in the morning to be seen for a lingering cough lasting 3 weeks. The receptionist offered me one of two times. I selected the later, but she seemed to record it as the earlier (I learned later). So when I arrived for my appointment reception told me that I had missed my appointment time and they could not squeeze me in. When you're sick, to get out of bed and drive is a huge effort and for their mistake they wouldn't make an effort to see me. They suggested that I wait 45 minutes "and she might be able to see you". Feeling miserable, I didn't wish to wait on a chance of being seen. If it was a definite I would have waited. I was so disappointed to say the least! Not one of the doctors in the office would squeeze me in and I'm sure that is was not my mistake. I am currently researching for a new primary care doctor for my family. This situation reminded me of the below referenced article that I just read about a person's character when things go wrong. There was no way to prove who was in error as the call was not recorded, but steps could have been taken to mitigate the situation. It would have been a quick visit. I did ask that Dr Panara call me and she did. She said that she could see me in 10 minutes (this was at 3.30), but I had just arrived home and was 17 minutes away. She didn't want to make her 4 PM wait and she would not extend her day a few minutes to see me at 4.45 PM when the office closes at 5 PM. There was little apology and no empathy. Not the doctor I want to advocate for my family's health. https://www.businessinsider.com/charles-schwab-ceo-takes-job-candidates-to-breakfast-messes-up-their-order-2016-2
