I came to Dr. Daugherty's office last year to get seen for my varicose veins that I had noticed. I did not think as young as I am that I should be having them and wanted them gone. His staff was very kind and informative. They did an ultrasound on both of my legs and wanted to do one on my abdomen. I never thought that pain during intercourse was something they dealt with. I agreed to have the ultrasound done and it was then that Dr. Daugherty discovered my severely compressed left illiac vein. To make a long story short, lots of blood work was done, I now wear thigh high compression hose and I had surgery to have stent placed in that vein. This happened in November of 2015. After words, all of my symptoms went away. I have no lower back pain or leg pain. Thankfully the pain during intercourse has disappeared as well!!! I have recommended that several of my coworkers go see his office to see if their veins are compressed. Who knew this all could be fixed?! Very happy I chose to go to Dr. Daugherty to get this issue taken care of.

If your primary insurance has a co-pay they require you to pay that on the spot even though you have a secondary that pays it. This is an Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care issue. Why do they not accept the secondary insurance? They verified that both primary and secondary were good, so we should not have had to pay the co-pay but they insisted saying it was policy. Insurance is insurance and if you have it you should not have to pay for what the insurance is supposed to pay. We walked out and went elsewheres.

Figured they'd call if it was an issue (I know they don't do stitches below a certain age, thought removal might be ok). Well, appointment wasn't until 12:45. I showed up and lady behind the desk was on, what looked like her personal phone, leaning against the wall. She asked my child's age and where we got the stitches done. Then proceeded to double check in the back and confirmed they cannot remove the stitches. I then asked "doesn't it show the age and what we booked for? Why would no one inform me?" They've been busy and obviously didn't check what patients are coming in for. Not too busy though considering the check in person was on their phone..would've been nice to know before making the unnecessary trip to a place that "can't" even help you.. She did give me an alternative to go to, but they wouldn't do the removal either. Seems to me we need an actual urgent care that can be used for pediatrics. This is obnoxious!

In 2019 Dr. William performed what was supposed to be a routine partial hysterectomy on me. During…read morethe procedure he cut into my bladder ! He "fixed" it without help of a urologist. I spent several weeks with a Bladder bag, long-term pain and inability to do normal everyday life things due to this botched surgery. In 2021 , the bladder repair ruptured! I became extremely I'll very quickly and no one could figure out why at first. By the time someone had figured out what was going on , I was septic and my kidneys had began shutting down . After emergency life saving surgery at another hospital by a truly knowledgeable surgeon , I then spent almost 2 weeks in the hospital meanwhile missing Christmas with my children . Once I was able to go home, I was bedridden with a bladder bag for several weeks and then unable to do daily life activities for over 6 months . To this day , I am still greatly affected and undergoing treatment for the botched surgery performed by Dr. William McIntosh. Please do not use him for your treatment!!!
