A very pretty and well maintained park between the river and the Kunstpalast. Excellent landscaping…read moreand smooth brick paths. Not much for seating but on a sunny summer day, perhaps brink a blanket for a picnic.
The centerpiece of the garden is a sculpture of a woman holding a jug on her head. According to my guide, a Jewish artist who fled Germany during the war. The sculpture was nearly destroyed by the Nazis but purchased by a woman who kept it and since donated it back to the city for display.
On a wet November morning, the fountain is drained for the season. But still a pretty park.
