Been coming here for about two years now. Our dog dislikes going to the dog salon and this one is no exception :-) they do take good care of him and do a great job. Payment can be made via PayPal here unlike most salons that want cash. Email appointments are possible and I have always made appointments via email. Depending on the time of year they are great in accommodating last minute requests. I am a regular here and see no reason to switch. read more

This week I took my English setter Henry who is long haired dog and not the easiest dog to groom to the grooming parlour and the end results were out standing, he looks fabulous, very well groomed, very clean and looks allot younger. I am extremely happy and therefore will take him back every 4 weeks to maintain his coat at Hundesalon und Mode, Bogenhausen. As they normally do only dogs I asked if they knew or could recommend any cat groomers in Munich as I have three Persians with extremely long and difficult hair! And they groomed my cats and yet again outstanding results; they turned three scruffy Persians into three little poodles also taking years of their looks. I am very happy with this grooming parlour, very nice people to talk to and very professional, they also take good care of your pets while they are in there care. I highly recommend this dog grooming parlour to any pet owner who wants to leave their pride and joys in safe and responsible hands and hands that do beautiful grooming on your pets. This is by far the worst haircut my dog has ever had. I booked in advance and let them know my dog is a mixed breed, we needed the full program: washing, brushing, drying, short summer teddy bear hair cut from a winter cut, eyes, ears, anal glands, nails...we were told it wasn't a problem, would take an hour, and cost 89 Euros. I showed up with my dog and the groomer told me the dog was much bigger than she expected and that she would need at least an additional 30 minutes. She also stated that she would not clear his anal gland as she wasn't a vet, even though she said on the phone she would do it. I explicitly stated that we were flying to a warmer climate and I needed his hair to be short so he wouldn't be too hot. I also explicitly stated that his hair hadn't been cut since the end of September, so we had about 5.5 months of growth that needed cutting. I asked if they had a email address or cell phone number I could text a picture of the dog to during last summer so they would have an image to reference off of while cutting. I was told that they didn't have an email address, nor a cell phone number to send a picture to, and as dog groomers they are professionals and know what they were doing. I picked him up after an hour and a half and he was in his crate waiting for me. As we had a flight to catch, I picked him up and we left. I figured having paid 89 Euros for a dog's hair cut in Bogenhausen everything would be fine. At home I let him out of his crate and was severely disappointed. His hair was not cut in the teddy bear style at all. His legs and body was cut at the same-ish length rather than longer legs and shorter body. His tail was cut extremely short and so uneven it looks as if a rat chewed on it. Upon closer inspection, his toe nails were not trimmed, and the hair between his feet pads were not trimmed. His hair was also not cut evenly. There were some severly long strands sticking out among the shorter strands. The hair was not cut short either, but rather about half way between what I requested and his winter growth. The only thing they got right was the shape of his face, as I asked them to not cut it round, but rather in line with his jaw line. As I didn't have time to go back to the salon or deal with them, I went to the airport as scheduled and had my husband deal with the salon. I will never ever go back there again, and will never ever refer them to anyone. read more
