He has this way of teaching that just clicks: Like even the things that felt intimidating at first became second nature because of how patient, detailed, and encouraging he is. He doesn't just teach you how to do phlebotomy, he makes sure you actually understand it and feel confident doing it. And the environment? So supportive. No judgment, just learning, growth, and real skill-building. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and wants you to walk out READY...not nervous. I came in a little unsure and left like "okayyyy, I think I got this!" If you're even thinking about taking a class PLEASE DO IT. And if you can get Mr. Jiere as your instructor? You already won.

That alone speaks to how well the program prepares you. The phlebotomy class was worth every penny. The instruction, hands on experience, and guidance on entering the workforce made a huge difference for me. I also want to give a special shout-out to Ms. Amelia for being such a great instructor and really making sure we understood the material and felt confident in our skills. My only regret is that I didn't enroll sooner. I first learned about this program during the pandemic, and I wish I had taken the class then. If you're considering this program, I highly recommend it.

I found The Study Pro and immediately they were encouraging, understanding, warm, supportive and knowledgeable. Shortly after attending my son said to me they are helping him back to being an A/B student. He loves going and now smiles, studys and is 2 points away from getting all A's again. Thanks you The Study Pro for believing in my son and helping him to not only believe in himself but also being excited that college is once again a possibility! I would absolutely 100% recommend The Study Pro for EF students and anyone else that is searching of ways to help themselves or kids from becoming unstuck academically.

From the owner: The StudyPro is an Executive Function and Study Skills Center. We are the only learning center…read morededicated to improving the study skills and habits of students. Our Essential Study Skills course teaches critical skills -- such as time management, organization, note-taking, and test prep -- that are required, but not fully taught in schools. Our Homework Center is a place where students come to plan and complete work, and is supported by subject-matter experts across all subject areas. Our 1:1 coaching helps to support students on a weekly basis with organizing work, breaking down ("chunking") longer-term assignments, assessing what may have gone wrong on tests, providing strategies for managing time and materials and creating a weekly work "plan". We work with students on organizing and studying for all tests and have special workshops to support mid-terms and finals. We also hold a highly-attended (free) "Lunch and Learn" series for parents where local experts speak on topics such as fostering motivation and helping students push through frustration. If your son or daughter is smart, yet still struggles with some aspects of study or Executive Function skills, we have built this center for you.

My mom went here the day before and only paid 18 bucks for the same exact treatments I had (wash, , deep condition, blow dry, trim, press and curl). Of course I didn't find out until after my salon visit that she paid no where near my amount (she had a senior citizen discount but it still doesn't excuse the overcharge). I should have known something was up when the educator asked me to pay some of the amount in cash and not all on my card. This is giving me signs of scamming. I paid for a deep condition yet not a cap or hooded dryer was used in the process. Makes me wonder if they just used regular conditioner instead of a deep conditioner. It didn't even sit on my hair for a minute before it was rinsed out. My hair was extremely tangled and dry after the wash and conditioner to the point my scalp was hurting as the stylist was combing it. I have 4c hair so moisture is essential on natural hair (but hey, I'm not the expert). I use Aussie moisturize deep conditioner at home and I know how my hair should feel afterwards and how nice the comb should be able to glide through. Called and spoke with the educator after my visit (didn't get her name but sounds like same one that took my money) and questioned the difference in prices and the deep condition treatment. She states (with an extremely long pause to the point I thought that she hung up), "due to my hair density and length I was charged this amount" and "their conditioning products are so good that you don't need to sit under dryer." Of course I don't believe this (but won't argue with her). I was charged based on density and length before anyone touched my head? Additionally, my moms hair is longer than mine. I arrived there with a wash and go ponytail so my hair shrinks to my head that you can't even determine the length or density by looking at it. So this is bogus. I usually stand clear of salons because of my anxiety due to horrible experiences (in particular people not knowing how to care for natural hair) and this has added to it. I will just continue to do my own hair as I usually do for all this headache.
