These guys were awesome! I had several items removed and they did a great job. Friendly and professional and the price was reasonable. My only complaint is that they were almost an hour late arriving because they were coming from Duluth ( I live in Kennesaw) at rush hour. These gentlemen were an absolute pleasure to work with. I called a week prior to set up an appointment. They worked easily with my schedule and we set up an appointment for that Saturday to clean out the junk in my garage. They arrived on time and quickly unloaded my entire junky garage into their trailer. They worked hard, they worked fast, and they did the job with a smile. For them to come out and do all of the heavy work, I still paid half of what I would have paid had I rented a small dumpster. They do all the lifting and even clean up after themselves!!Chad and Kevin were very professional and did the job quickly. Communication was great also. I asked for a confirmation call and Chad made sure I knew when they were on their way. I love that they are a small business. You really can feel how much they genuinely appreciated my business. The owner, Chad, responded to my RFP within an hour or so & was able to schedule me right away. At my request he even agreed to come out an hour earlier than their usual start time t. Chad explained their pricing based on a truckload, and since I provided him with an estimate of the dimensions of the larger pieces and a breakdown of the areas to be cleared, he gave me a rough estimate based on a truckload and partial load. I received a courtesy call shortly before they arrived. Everyone was professional in their appearance/demeanor and super nice. Chad, Shawn (sorry if wrong spelling), and Kevin immediately dove in after a quick walk-through, and checked with me a few times throughout the process to ensure they were not removing anything that was supposed to stay. Hullaway had all the tools they needed, like orange cones to safely block part of the street. They even took out the trash from my kitchen can :) Most importantly,the team's easy-going, friendly attitude from 1st call to final haul made this STRESS-FREE, despite all the agitation I had going into getting "the purge" done. Hullaway did a quick, efficient job- maneuvering through the tight spaces and oddities of an old driveway-less house, even staging items to ensure they could get as much stuff in a load as safely possible. When it was time to pay up, I had pulled out enough cash to match exactly what the final cost ended up being (plus tip, as I appreciate how easy they made this for me)--so no surprise fees or addons (even though they also ripped out some carpet and I asked them to move my fridge to clear out some debris/dust back there). They accept cc's & checks too, of course. Hullaway's "trailer Tetris" skills are unmatched, and I appreciate their positive attitudes and great customer service. Stop scrolling and stop searching for the right junk removal company. These guys are the best. Chad and his team just left our house with a whole bunch of stuff that had been weighing us down. Given what they must see in a day, I don't know how they're able to keep their truck and themselves so clean. We actually enjoyed the visit because they're so likable. Zero complaints or questions from them. The only thing they asked was "what's going/what's staying?" and then they took the junk while respecting the house and the things we're keeping. They work hard and keep up a good conversation while they're doing it. Chad and Kevin are so personable and friendly which was a big bonus. The other thing is the price quote: they stood by it even though we had a lot more stuff than we thought we did. They didn't haggle or try to get more money, they said "we quoted you $200 and even though there's twice the load we expected, we are going to honor the original quote." It's just so rare to find honest people working in any field these days, particularly contractors and junk removal companies. We were happy to see the junk go, but not these two guys.
