She comes home with a new word or new number and she is so excited to learn! Journey is very affordable for us compared to other daycares and provides the same level of learning experiences, such as sign language, yoga, and daily learning activities, as well as constant picture updates on the brightwheel app so you get photo updates on how our child is doing and we really appreciate that. There are also no TVs present on site so we know they are getting no screen time as well. The staff of Journey are incredible to say the least. From being very friendly to us and the children, to having great communication on any issues or concerns, and having flexibility if an issue arises and you have to come a little late. Our baby LOVES seeing the caretakers, and she basically shoos me away with a "bye-bye" so she can begin her day at school. The environment is always wonderful. It is located in an apartment space so it feels like a home, informal, welcoming, and calm, yet also very professional. There are two music classes a week, art work (today we were sent home with an adorable handprint snowflake), sensory activities, neighborhood walks, grocery shopping trips, and ample free play where the babies learn to socialize.
