By far my favourite large book shop in Hannover! Usually has a very decent selection of books, also of foreign language titles. The service here is great, I never have to wait too long, and if I want to order a title (foreign or domestic), the title is usually back in the shop within a day (given it is available at all.) I also like the layout of the shop a lot - it is all very orderly and clear to me, especially the bestseller wall that shows what books are currently most popular with the German customers. Also, its location could hardly be better - five minutes by foot from the train station, or literally no more than a minute from the city centre by definition, the Kröpcke. read more

Fantastic place to get books! Is very classic and mesmerising.

Personally I don't like this book store: It's confusing, badly stocked and overpriced. They don't have a stationary section like most bookstores have and only a small assortment of calendars and notebooks for this large location. What bothers me the most is their pricing: They charge more than the stickers on their books say and that is already more than on the Internet. Especially book sets and bundles are at least 50% more expensive than on Amazon for example. The positive thing is their selection of bestsellers and law books, in those departments they seem to have plenty of everything. read more
