I discovered Hueffmeier's while on the North East Region 2025 shop hop. Nice store and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Really liked talking to her and her long arm stitching is amazing. So much so that I am sending her a quilt top I completed for a Christmas gift to be finished on her Long Arm machine. read more

Cuts and Bolts Fabrics is easy to miss. If you look for it, it's before the bridge, and that's the best way to describe their location. I walked in, and they are a tiny shop but pack alot. I saw material I've never seen anywhere. They have the popular material companies, but their patterns are interesting. I like how they are innovative in their techniques. Their Row By Row pattern turned out cute. But the whole sop is not entirely about being cute. If I lived near Chillicothe, I would shop there all the time. This and Hamilton, and I would be set.

They make quilts other than t-shirt quilts, too. I know nothing about the quilting hobby/business but it sure looked like they had a lot of choices. Angry right from the start at me for reasons beyond my control. $20. I don't care about my $20 deposit, and would have paid $20 to talk to a family friend that works there. Management needs to go if $20 is an issue on a gun they made a nice big profit on cause it was back ordered for 3-6 months (popular). Seriously I would be giving a 5 star if she hadn't just been downright nasty and accusing as if I had ignored calls to pick up the gun. As a good salesperson once said it's usually the salesperson making the sale not the product. I wouldn't accept something for free here at this point. Except for my friend working there maybe they'll go under. Almost no stock. Prediction: gone in 18 months.
