Joey is the BOMB.com he is the epitome of Customer Service. We are celebrating my niece's birthday with a party of 16. We were all extremely happy the entire time and that is because of Joey's excellent service. He welcomed us, made sure we all had water then took of orders for appetizers and drinks. Everything came out fresh and delicious then he took our meal orders again he made sure we got refills without asking and all the food was amazing. We were all chilling and laughing when Joey's surprised my niece with a nice flan and we all sang her Happy birthday. Nothing was a bother for Joey he literally was Service with a smile the entire 3 hours we were here. EXCELLENT!! I give this place a 10 and Joey is a 10 PLUS INFINITY!! Genuinely the worst main course I've had at a restaurant for the money I paid. About $35 for a 'swordfish' that tasted microwaved and unseasoned, above a base of the most ridiculous assortment of vegetables (again, probably microwaved). I don't write reviews, I don't EVER get upset about what I am served at restaurants... this is the ONLY exception. Other meals at the table looked pretty good. This was a spontaneous Thursday night dinner with a dear and treasured friend. We were looking for ambience and something on the water, and this place did not disappoint. It was a little awkward upfront, as we were seated at a table at the bottom of a stairway in a high traffic area and asked to be moved, and our waiter kindly moved us to a beautiful table, when another person approached us and asked us to move due to that specific table being reserved after two more moves we finally settled in at a fairly nice table. Our waiter was very personable and friendly. Their gin selection was very limited, but we did get two wonderful cocktails at happy hour price. As per our waiters suggestion we ordered the beef short rib empanadas and the tuna nachos, both which came out quickly and were absolutely phenomenal. We were very happy with the suggestion. The empanadas were delicious and generous and the tuna nachos were high-quality sushi grade tuna. We were very pleased with the quality and presentation. We also took his suggestion for dinner, which was the seafood risotto, and again it was fantastic. The seafood, especially the shrimp and the scallops were cooked meticulously perfect! We were incredibly happy with the choice. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert so we will save that for another day. Even though it started off a little bit shaky, our waiter, Chris, made our experience worthwhile. We will definitely go back again. I would say, music would have made it a spectacular experience, but the way the restaurant is set up they have a tiki bar way off to the side, however, an acoustic guitar player or performer would have been an ideal touch to the experience. I'll just cut to the chase. Food was very good service was average, which was acceptable. We had a nice time and enjoyed our meal and the setting. I enjoyable evening and meal was soon diminished when we received the check the waiter you seem like a good guy proceeded to tell us if there was an 18% gratuity added, even though they're only three in our party and the gratuity was automatic. Proceed to tell us the 2% of the 18% was going to the bar for their gratuity and that he would only receive 16%. He didn't proceeded to give me the machine to process my credit card payment and when I hit next the machine would not let me proceed. The waiter told me that I had to either type no tip. It confuse the hell out of me because he said the tip was automatically 18%. He said no tip means no extra tip but it's customary to tip 20% so if I wanted to touch any other additional percentages to add more gratuity, I would be welcome to do that. Otherwise hit no tip and we would only be charged 18%. I didn't come to the restaurant to do math, nor do I care what employee receives what percentage of the gratuity. We won't be back and we are all locals. Get your act together! read more

We came in for brunch on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find no wait time to sit outside under the tiki. We ordered Bloody Mary's, the deviled eggs app, and breakfast. They have some very unique dishes you don't see too often which I love. I had the shrimp and grits and would highly recommend. Everything was delicious and the service was great! It did start to pick up and get busier towards the end of our meal so maybe we just made it early enough to beat the rush. The restrictions ambiance was good, very chic. You walk-in and are welcomed with beautiful murals. The food was ok. We started off with the coconut shrimp for an appetizer and it was alright. Not the best and you only get 6pcs. Then i ordered the seared ahi tuna. The tuna fell kind of flat taste wise. Service was ok. While our server was nice, she didn't really stop by to check in on us. All great. We both had different types of mojitos - perfectly made. We had desserts. The Coconut Cream (came with a birthday candle) and the Chocolate Flan. So yummy. This location is up in Stewart right on the water next to the bridge, the view is magnificent and the ambience inside the restaurant is so much fun. We had the opportunity to meet Megan our server and she was so sweet. She made a suggestion on what to order for an appetizer, which was the crab Rangoon dip and it was absolutely delicious. Really very much enjoyed that. She recommended the Asian chicken salad, I asked for the dressing on the side, unfortunately, it came with the dressing on it so I sent it back. It was drenched on dressing and it has a spice to it, It took about another 10 minutes to get it. my party had already eaten most of their food so I was just sitting here relaxing enjoying the view. My salad finally came out. I took a couple of bites the chicken with spicy whatever the seasoning is on the round the outside of it. I just told her thank you and I took it on the box. I walked up to the front. To look at the menu and the menu does not say that anything is spicy on the chicken and I did ask if it was spicy and she stated no. So I felt bad and I just took the salad in a box and I'm gonna eat it when I get home and maybe use some ranch or blue cheese dressing to lighten the seasoning. The other people in my party were happy with their choices, next time I have to ask more detail questions or the server should always ask if there any Allergies at the table! Before we even talk about the food or the quality of it, let me tell you it was Easter Sunday and we walked in and we were totally shocked The place was fairly empty. We were with another comfortable she ordered ribs, her husband ordered salmon, my husband ordered a French dip and I ordered the Aji tuna salad, but I requested no spice. It took a while until I got there and it was fine because it was an absolutely beautiful day sitting on the water. The waitress was lovely. When our food came, my girlfriend said her ribs were extremely dry. My husband had a mini sandwich with maybe 2 ounces of meat in it and he requested no onions, but it included that. I took one bite of the tuna and I hit the sky. It was so spicy that I could hardly catch my breath. They were very attentive to us and asked me what else I wanted and I asked for a burger. My husband requested the sandwich to be retail size and not a half a sandwich and no mushrooms or onions. when I got my hamburger without any bun, the meat was green. The manager came over and said absolutely not, but I showed it to everybody and it looked green. The long and short of it, I returned it and I had a bowl of soup. It got to a point that we could not wait to leave. The manager had walked over to us and gave each couple a gift card and also took my husband and my food off the check. She was very content with us. She wanted to know why and so forth, but it was not the waitresses fault or the managers by any means they need to straighten out their kitchen, especially being a holiday. Or I just realized that maybe it was empty because a lot of people have been there before. We will go back eventually, but it was not what we had thought and very disappointed. read more

Came here for dinner expecting to eat, but that was not the case. My husband and I sat there for 20 minutes. Usually when you arrive there's a waitstaff that would at least offer us some water. At least three waitstaff walked by us. Didn't even acknowledge that we were there. It wasn't like they were extremely busy. Service and staff were very kind and helpful. Food was good, reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants in the area. Caribbean salad was amazing! Poke bowl was good, I typically prefer cubed poke this was more of a minced but still good. Spicy tuna had a large crunchy root vegetable in it that was slightly overwhelming to the overall balance of the roll. Tropical roll was incredible. I have been here for lunch and dinner, and both times it has been a very favorable experience. The staff are always friendly and hospitable. At lunch, my girlfriend and I sat for a long time in conversation, and we were never disturbed or asked to leave. The restaurant is big with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is fusion in a delightful mix of Asian and Western cuisine. I must say there's a lot of room for improvement in the Asian aspect! The price is a little high. Ordered drinks and took way longer than should have. Ordered appetizers and took way longer than it should have. The food in general took too long. I looked around and no one had any food on their tables. Overheard our server apologize to another table and then to us. The place was half empty, yet they were backed up. This is not the first time this happened here. Either it's a short staffing issue or process failure, but not returning. Also, they add 18% without telling you. If 3.5 stars was an option that's what I would have chosen. You eat here for the view, ambiance, and beautiful decor. There is a beautiful tropical mural on the wall, gorgeous oversized wicker lampshades, shiny blue scale tiles surrounding the bar, and windows to view the river. The food was okay. The salad with the panko coated watermelon was innovative but IMO it needed salt; however, salt was not on the table so we had to wait until the waiter came back which is a bit annoying. Poke bowl was entirely cold. This is strange to me since usually you have the contrast between warm rice and cold fish. Water is served in a carafe. Which also was annoying since there were four of us, a single carafe didn't fill all four of our glasses and we had to wait for additional carafes (it's Florida it was hot okay?!) Price wise you're paying for the view and pretty restaurant. Service wise 18% gratuity was automatically included and it felt that way. While Kyle Gs restaurants includes gratuity as well I still feel like I get excellent service. read more

I originally enjoyed this restaurant when I visited it a few times. I sat outside and enjoyed the view. I was not charged a service charge these times. This last time I brought my friend and we sat at the bar for happy hour. I was not only overcharged on my bill but the bartender charged me a 18% service charge while sitting at the bar!! The restaurant would not take my calls to resolve the issue and when I had to drive all the way back there they said it's a company policy and it's in the "fine" print on their menu. My fault I didn't pull out magnifying glass while having happy hour and it does not state it on the happy hour menu. I tried telling her I wouldn't have tipped 25% on top of the 18% and instead of trying to rectify the situation she told me to leave and never come back. 0 out of 0 for Hudson's. read more

Holy cow amazing! We have been here several times and it's always amazing! However, tonight they really outdid themselves. We order the seafood tower and that wagyu steak. Just wow. It's beautiful atmosphere and fantastic staff all around. I do have to make mention of fabulous waiter Joey. We have had him before and also tonight.
