Extremely rude and unhelpful employee. Asked a price, since nothing was marked, and all you get is "I don't know". When pushed farther to ask which was cheaper between two brands she says the small size is cheaper. Clarifying I said large for both which one is less expensive. Now she says one is "4 something and the other is like 5 something. I say which one is which to which she replies "I don't know" and starts lecturing me about not being rude. I asked her to find out the prices and she stormed off without the items. I said how is it being rude to ask a price of something that has no price visible. She came back and grabbed both items and eventually gave me a price. Not to mention $5.49 for a bottle of water is outrageous for a captive audience. Should be a requirement to sell water at a restricted markup since we can't bring our own through security. If she doesn't like her "customer service" job maybe she should find a different one. read more

Hudson News does offer a wide variety of drinks, on-the-go snacks, magazines, media, and various cables and technology that you might need if you forget it at home. The problem is that they charge an absolute arm and a leg for all of their products, and given that they are basically the only "convenience" type store in the Myrtle beach airport, you are basically forced to pay $4.00+ for a Diet Coke if you want a drink before takeoff.
