I've worked with a lot of professionals over the years, and Elle is one of the most impressive advocates I've had on my side. She helped me search for and evaluate dozens of multifamily investment properties throughout Southern Oregon. We wrote multiple offers before finding the right opportunity, and through every step of the process she remained patient, strategic, and completely focused on helping me make the right decision--not just closing a sale. What sets Elle apart is that she is never pushy. Instead of trying to steer me toward a purchase, she consistently provided balanced, honest, and pragmatic advice. She wasn't afraid to point out potential issues or tell me when she thought a property wasn't the right fit, even if it meant more work for her. That level of integrity is rare. When it came time to negotiate, Elle was absolutely relentless. She is a fierce advocate for her clients, incredibly sharp in negotiations, and knows exactly when to push and when to be strategic. She's fast, responsive, exceptionally detail-oriented, and always seemed several steps ahead throughout the transaction. Having someone this knowledgeable and cunning representing your interests gives you a tremendous advantage. Whether you're a first-time homebuyer, a seasoned real estate investor, or looking to purchase multifamily or commercial investment property in Southern Oregon, I can't recommend Elle highly enough. Her market knowledge, work ethic, professionalism, communication, and commitment to her clients are second to none. The best compliment I can give is this: when you're negotiating and the stakes are high, you want Elle Powell sitting on your side of the table. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again and will recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding real estate agent in Southern Oregon.

Working with Tyler Boening with the Rockwell Group was one of the most frustrating and…read moredisheartening experiences we've ever had. From the beginning, he made grand promises--telling us exactly what we wanted to hear, swearing everything would go smoothly, and insisting we wouldn't lose money. But it was all smoke and mirrors. Tyler talks a big game to win your trust, then vanishes the moment things get difficult. He left us stranded when we needed him most, and his lack of follow-through ended up costing us a significant amount of money--money he explicitly promised we wouldn't lose. To make it worse, my husband is sick, a fact Tyler knew and exploited to get his paycheck. He told us he loved us, loved our family and would never let anything happen to us but we haven't heard a peep after the damage he's caused. We were relying on Tyler to do his job with some basic professionalism and integrity. Instead, he brought stress, confusion, and financial damage we couldn't afford. This wasn't just bad service; it was careless, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. If you're looking for a real estate agent you can actually count on, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I would encourage people to keep on mind that JL Scott has the largest group of realtors in Southern Oregon at around 150 or so. All I can say is that with so many people and with so much of the market sown up, a couple of transactions gone bad isn't a call that odd. I was a Store Manager for a big box home improvement retailer for many years and can tell you that it's always the unhappy that are the loudest... That said, JL Scott is the biggest for a reason. As was evident in our transaction in April of last year, JL Scott obviously prides themselves in customer service.
