The hotel room was HOT, while the hallway was much cooler we almost wanted to sleep with the door and windows all open. There was no way of cooling down except for opening the windows which we ended up doing and had to listen to drunk people fighting all night long. It was only for two nights. It also seemed like they made the rooms very warm on purpose so they could make you want to rent a cooling unit for 25€/night. They give you a small tower fan but it does no good. And they ask you for a deposit for the mini-bar, cash deposit, which we barely had. He wanted 25€ but I only had 15€ so he took it. We did get it back but it just seemed odd. There is limited parking but its around the corner from the hotel which was fun to have to run to when it was pouring rain. Other than that, its very convenient to the HBH.

Took few minutes for the servers to bring me the menu, and they only did that after my mom has walked up and asked for one. All I wanted was coffee... It took 20min for someone to take my order and another 20min for the coffee to be served.... It's been probably 45min since I got in here and I'm just now enjoying the coffee... When I approached the server about this situation she said it's not her fault.... Hmmm you are who I'm dealing with and you're the face of this Restsurant.... Guess what, you take the bland and make the customer feel better... I think this situation speaks for itself....

When visiting Mazuria, I decided to stay one night in Olstzyn because I had heard that it's a nice…read moretown. That was true, although our hotel there was the least good one that we had in Poland. The building clearly had its roots in the communist times, although efforts have been made to make the hotel look nicer. The hotel was however satisfying enough for us, because it was very close to the center of Olsztyn, offering the possibility to go for a drink in the evening. The young staff was very friendly too. The hotel has an elevator too, which was nice, because we have been staying in hotels without elevators. What was very good too, is the closed parking with guard, because it's just excellent if your goal is to visit the town of Olsztyn. You don't have to park the car and it's on a very safe place. What we liked least about the hotel, was the lack of airco. During the night it became very hot in the room and my travel companion had trouble sleeping. But nevertheless the overal price/quality impression was positive.
