I have been waiting on this place to open since February! They finally completed construction and passed inspection and opened last month. If you're open to working out in a 116-125 degrees small sauna then this is your place. I absolutely love this place and the results that I am seeing beyond weight loss is real. I leave a class feeling so refreshed and I sleep like a baby at night thanks to HotWorx. I highly recommend popping in for a guest class you can't go wrong. Great workout concept. Found out about this place by going to a networking event. Told my best friend about it, and she immediately suggested we signup, and I'm glad I did. The gym is open 24-hours a day, and consists of various sauna like boxes that can fit up to 3 people in them. With your subscription you're provided with two apps. One to open the door, and the 2nd to book your appointment. Each class is pre-recorded and play continuously and appears to be on a loop. What would have given this location 5 stars is if the boxes were just a little taller. As a 6'1 guy, some of the stretching exercises can sometimes be difficult, however I really enjoy my experience other than that. Tyr it out, and you'll be impressed. read more

Clean, easy access, and neat workout options. I've done Hot Cycle, Hot Yoga and Hot Pilates and used their small TRX and weight area. They are working out some service bugs having recently opened but it seems like once they endure those growing pains, it will be a well run facility. Bring plenty of water and know that you'll need to rent a mat to use for any workout but cardio. I really enjoy the infrared sauna and am excited this option has made its way to Birmingham. read more

I was staying at a hotel a block away looking for a yoga class nearby and found this place. Its a convenient and refreshing place for a high intensity work out near the UAB medical center. Its a unique concept using short duration(15 or 30 min) sessions in a sauna-like room. Can choose between 15 min cardio sessions with cycling or rowing and 30 min isometric sessions with yoga or pilates. The rooms hold up to 3 people and the instructors are on a video in the room to guide the workout. Staff was friendly and guided me to my first time visit for yoga. They provide the towel and mat. I had done hot yoga before, but this was more intense and 30 min was definitely enough. I was soaked by the end, but energized. If you like quick work outs with guaranteed full sweat should give it a try. read more

In one of these hot little rooms, a video of the instructor is played on a loop at a manageable pace and easy to follow. With a limit of 3 people per room, If you're an introvert or have social anxiety, this is the place for you! This was the best workout class I've ever attended! I've never sweat so much, felt so amazing and accomplished by the end of it. *note to self: bring bottle of ice, as you exercise in their 120°+ sauna room thing, it'll melt and (hopefully) still be cold. I am hooked. I stopped in not really knowing what to expect and what a surprise. Hot yoga and Pilates are taken to the next level. The facility is clean, innovative and welcoming. The staff is great and very helpful. If you are looking for flexibility and fat loss, this is the place for you. I can't wait for them to open in LA!! read more
