I've stayed here a few times now for work, and it's a totally acceptable cheap hotel that's in a…read moreconvenient location. That's what it has going for it: affordable, close to the main train station, and a U Bahn (metro) stop right across the street. The breakfast has all the basics you'd want, but nothing fancy and the only 'warm' options are hard boiled eggs and toast. The colour scheme in the room is a bit jarring, and I also found it difficult to find a good room temperature when sleeping. Normally I sleep with the window open for some air circulation but it's not possible here because all the rooms face the street, which is very busy with traffic and trams. There is an air conditioning unit in the room but it was then too cold.......anyways that was my 4 day long problem. I kept waking up because I was either too cold or too hot.
I probably would have given this hotel 3 stars except I had so many problems with the wifi. After 1 day my phone just refused to connect to it and nothing I tried worked. Also when using the wifi on my tablet it would randomly drop out while I was in the middle of doing something. Not nice when you need to keep in contact with people back home and your wifi doesn't work!
