Lavomatic - Here it is, tucked away within the gas station.

Great little self-service laundromat. It's located on the lot of a Repsol gas station and shaped…read morelike part of a car wash building, which is a bit odd and at first glance might make people pass it by. There are quite a few washers and four large dryers. You buy tokens in the gas station, then follow the simple instructions on the wall. You don't even need to bring your own soap or even handle any as it automatically fills itself once you start the program. Apparently the washers always run on 35-min cycles (according to the signs) and you just choose the temperature. You choose the temperature of the dryer as well, and although my choice of medium heat resulted in a 25-min cycle I can't say if that would be the same for other temperatures. It does say no synthetics in the dryers, though, so take note if that's relevant. The washers say they can take 7kg but the dryers are absolutely enormous, perfect for bedding, towels etc. I paid 12€ for two 8-kg loads and one drying session (they didn't weigh it or anything, that's just what it says on the receipt). During the wash session the washers seem to be locked for the most part (front-load, so opening them would result in a huge mess at the very least) but I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to open the dryer mid-cycle if that's something that matters to you. There are two plastic chairs there if you want to wait around and a nice huge folding counter which I greatly appreciated. Visited on Oct 28, 2014.

Overall, we were disappointed with our recent stay at the Higuerón Resort. We spent four nights…read morehere and that was two nights too many. They advertise a rooftop pool but it costs a lot of money per person to use (over 100 euros). They advertise a private beach club but it also costs 100 euros per person to use. The pool that we could see at ground level from our balcony was empty and being refurbished - so unusable. There was one usable pool for guests included in the price of the room but it was very cold. There are many paddle ball courts which we saw being used every day from our balcony but they, too, cost a lot of money to use. Plus, the remote nature of the resort meant that, unless you take the commuter train to somewhere else, you are stuck away from other possible interesting things to do. The best parts were the staff (everyone was kind and helpful) and the fitness center. But we will not stay here again.

By far one of the most scenic places I've ever stayed! The infinity pool to the lower level pool…read morejust has photogenic shots all over and the food (burger) at infinity pool bar was amazing. The room had an amazing shower with this see through blue glass with a rain shower and then to top it off it had a stand alone bath tub right by the balcony! The sports club, the Tesla charging station and a Michelin star chef restaurant on site. I could go on and on but this picture says enough
