This hotel is located within the Uptown Plaza which has a Walmart, many shops, restaurants (TGIF, Vips, La Casa de los Abuelos, Starbucks), plenty of secure parking, and very near a huge mall. Very walkable.
The check-in was easy. Service was friendly and excellent.
My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, had plenty of electrical outlets, black-out curtains, great views of the city, and equipped with drawers, a closet, ironing board with iron, coffee kit, pleasant lighting, TV with cable, mini fridge, and room safe.
The bathroom was nice with a rain shower, sink, close-up mirror (scary!), and standard soaps, shampoo, towels, etc. I did have two issues with the bathroom: 1. The exhaust vent did not work (not a huge deal, but steam from the shower would cloud the mirror. More importantly, 2. The toilet is made to minimize water use, so if you deposit more than liquid, it would not flush. I had to fill the trash can with water from the sink to get it to flush. That was an annoyance.
The hotel amenities include a small pool (nice to cool off, but no real swimming), a gym (which I did not see), a bar, and an excellent hot breakfast buffet.
There is great security. When you enter from the mall and get to the elevator, you can only press L to access the lobby unless you are checked in and use your card-key. If you have your room key, scan it, and the elevator will recognize it and automatically select the floor of your room. You can only access the lobby or your room floor. So people can not just walk in and access floors where guests are without a key.
Prices are moderate, lower than what you would pay for an equivalent hotel in the USA.
If you need to get around, there are Ubers and taxis.
I would definitely stay there again.
