The food in the restaurant is surprisingly excellent-- we ate there twice because it was so tasty and affordable! 3. Finally, the spa is spectacular-- with several different rooms of different temperatures, a perfumed shower that makes bird sounds, and various other oddities you can only find in Austrian spas. 4. It's almost equidistant from the two main lifts, and not too far from a third. 5. There are some small restaurants in the surrounding area (10 minutes walking) we would have never discovered if we had not been staying there. Definitely recommend staying here, or at least eating here if you're staying nearby!

Our room has the bed facing the huge picture window - and with the huge balcony (big enough to have a party on) having clear barriers the view's unobstructed and simply stunning, you'd never get tired of looking at it. Bed is firm, good shower (also has a view as it's glass encased and at one end of room - only the toilet has a door). The hotel is quite new - opened in 2017, stylish and modern, with bar and restaurant and shady courtyard. Breakfast is an optional add on, not cheap at $20 (maybe less if included at booking) but is a very good one with a huge variety of everything, a sumptuous continental with a hot egg/sausage dishes. This is also the only hotel on this trip where we used the spa repeatedly - the steam room and 2 saunas were fabulous, spacious and not crowded (No attendants). Location is excellent as well, on a pedestrian street packed with shops, restaurants, grocery stores, right on the edge of old town. It's one km distance from the train station so a bit of walk or can take the tram from there (#5 for 2 stops to Rathausgalerien - an indoor shopping plaza next to the hotel). They don't provide coffee or tea (I was told there is a vending machine somewhere in the building for that), but there is an electric kettle in the room. They provide the free Innsbruck transportation card for the trams etc for 2+ night stays (you might have to remember to ask).

This is the finest hotel I have ever had the honor of staying at! Panoramic views of the alps in all directions. I requested a room with a balcony and was granted one at no extra expense, so was able to walk outside of my room and at any time see the magical mountains surrounding it. The room was comfortable and small. The breakfast buffet was gourmet and of utmost excellence, clearly collected from local farms and providers - it was delicious! The hotel also offers a dinner, and while I originally signed up for it, I later opted not to take it, as I was not sure i could be back in time for it. The menu for dinner changed every day and looked excellent - offering classical Tirolean fair. You are given a reserved table, fancily dressed, with amazing views of the outside mountains. The wifi was fast and free. Perhaps the only issue with the hotel itself was it lacked air conditioning seemingly, although I just cracked the door to the outside balcony and it cooled my room off fine! The traditional build of the hotel was absolutely enchanting for an American who rarely encounters such wonderful Austrian woodwork and loves the smell of pine. Perhaps the best selling point of the hotel was the service. Barbara Lechner will give you a briefing on the local area when you first arrive and provide numerous guide maps, brochures and answer a variety of questions. She will help build an itinerary for you. Arriving relatively unprepared I can say that she was invaluable in making my trip in the Kitzbuhel alps an exceptional one. Her family even offered to drive me to/from the Kirchberg train station which is about a 25 minute walk away, which I declined out of courtesy. I feel like Barbara was "on call" to help this relatively clueless American - which was especially useful considering all the guests at the hotel appeared to be German speaking. The price of the hotel is very low compared to the quality - and I am already making arrangements to come back soon.

From Google review, I was not expecting much., but came to our surprise this hotel is a hidden gem. Well, not actually hidden as its location was super great, just two minute walk yo the lake!! It's just "hidden" by the gigantic hotel surrounding it. This hotel with 20 rooms are neat and clean. Some of the rooms have balconies with part view to the lake, like our room. The size is decent for two people and facilities are as other basic European hotels. Breakfast are included and they serve fresh bread, eggs done per your choice and coffee. Choices of jams are plenty and oh my... they are delicious! And they set a table nicely dedicated for you every day, with little name tag! A one page news with weather forecast and activities surrounding the area for the day is prepared for you too! The only one small "complain" I have is that the bed sheet is white but pretty rough. But even with that, I will come back and stay here again if we are in Eben am Achensee!

The room that we got was very modern and has an very comfy bed. The pool is modern and refreshing. And the restaurant has delicious food! You can ski til the back of the hotel. The hotel is open since 2016 and has been built out of an old storage house (Kontor). The love and detail that went into the renovation is amazing. The service is second to none and so is the breakfast (made to order eggs and warm breakfast items. Homemade Marmelade, great bread, 10 different teas, wonderful coffees, etc.) The hotel is very close (2 minutes walk) to old town Hall and wonderful restaurants and shops.

The owner is very friendly and hospitable. There is a bar that's open until 8pm and they serve complimentary breakfast in the morning until 8:30. The rooms are like little apartments if you get two bedrooms. They do not accept credit cards, only cash or wire transfer.
