Don't forget to bring your own beach towels or you'll be charged 15€ per towel with a €5 cleaning fee per towel! As if that wasn't bad enough tired to get ice not one machine called the front desk after calling ten times was told to call room service room service said call front desk then front desk transferred me back to room service All the while this is going on I'm listening to must annoying children's music blaring from the pool If you want a nice relaxing vacation do not stay here you'd be better off at motel 6 in fact!

This hotel is only 5 min walk away from the biggest beach in Benidorm, but is it up a steep hill. I don't know how it could not be in a typically tourist area: Benidorm as a whole is a tourist area. Note that it is 2km away from city centre, but a bus will take you there in 10 min. Don't know about the rooms but I know it is not like a 4 or 5 star hotel. It is good old charter hotel.
