Simplistic to its core. The elevator could be refurbished; quite a few chipped edges.The room decor does not balance the cost, yet the view allows some nudge. Only one bedside lamp (trying to be antique ir just left over...) The carpet could use some help--looked quite ill adjusted-quite wrinkled-thought it was dirt. The mattress was not as hard as expected.The pillows on one bed still had loose hairs from possible previous guests (not clean) and one of the beds had torn sheet.Expect some electricity intertuptions; as much of Central Mexico, yet it will come back on. The "continental breakfast" is quite scarce--more like an appetizer. Best to go explore other reasonable balance if price with options for a hearty beginning to the day. Stayed here 2 nights and it was a comfortable stay. The room was big and the beds decent. The pillows weren't so comfortable though. The staff here is extremely friendly. Great hotel service. Also had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant and the food was delicious. read more
