Great, old world hotel. Mostly German is spoken in this part of Italy, but English and Italian are…read morealso spoken in the hotel. The women are dressed like maidens and every breathtaking view will remind you of the sound of music.
After dinner, head down to the wine cellar for wine and cheese and they also offer a variety of strudel for your sweet tooth.
Breakfast consists of eggs made to order, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juices, coffee.
The church next door rings bells every 15mins, but after the first hour you don't even notice it.
The hotel has mostly older guests, 65+, but if you're younger and looking for some nightlife, there is a bar down the hill (1 minute walk) that offers live music and drinks.
My two gripes: the bathroom is tiny and the door is glass so you have zero privacy. The beds are a little old and creek with every turn.
All in all, it was a great experience and I'm glad we checked this off of our bucket list!
