With the building of this new hotel, designed and constructed according to ecological principles, the Merano entrepreneur Ulrich Ladurner realised a dream. Even as a child this place had fascinated him. Here he felt an immediate and primal proximity to nature, combined with a fascinating inimitable worldview from such a high vantage point, which had already cast a spell over him when he was a child. Years later from this child's dream arose the very real idea to build a hotel for guests on that very spot, so as to share the unique energy emanating here. He was convinced that there would always be people like himself who would hold this spot in high esteem and love it just as he does.
