It was costly for a room without controllable air conditioning (at least I could not cool the room…read morefurther than it was set to). They charged an occupancy charge for our kids, but never made the bed, etc. that came with this occupancy charge. Upon complaining, they apologized and refunded the fee (since they provided no service). So, the staff offered good support, although it was a little hard to communicate our problems with them. (For example, after asking the housekeeping staff for sheets for the bed, they only wanted to offer one sheet, and we kept saying we needed a fitted bottom sheet and a top sheet). However, the location of this hotel is beautiful -- located near several beaches, some kid friendly and some not. The Hercules Tower is amazing. The breakfast buffet was very good. All in all, a little too expensive for what it was, but it is beautiful clean hotel with good breakfast buffet. Although we didn't get to use it, the gym looked great.
