The shower wasn't a shower - no place head height to hang to telephone shower head. Well, there was a place but it was waist height. Breakfast was okay. The sauna was nice once the person from reception came up and reset the fuses. The carts of the cleaning ladies' tended to be in the hallways all day and night, sometimes blocking the elevator. The cable was terrible, half the channels were fuzzy. And the ceilings in the rooms are low. Reception was friendly and helpful and the gym, a large airy room, is well appointed and has a nice view of the city.

Her German wasn't good then and her boss often used aggressive and inappropriate language. Another woman who didn't do their duty or often were sick received a lot of appreciation from the boss as for my friend who was always there and did her job faultlessly didn't receive anything. She often needed to do her coworkers job because they didn't accomplish it. One time she was paid half of her salary! And she was yelled at because she spoke her language. She came home shaking and couldn't calm down. She started to have health issues from using all sorts of "cleaning equipment ". Which her boss suggested that they clean with it. Tomorrow morning they all had swelling and rash on their hands. So I don't support this hotel of how they treat their employees and you shouldn't too...

There is a nice outdoor area and indoor bar where you can get a drink and snack in the evenings. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, along with many other personal touches gives this hotel some of the charm of a bed and breakfast along with the privacy and conveniences of a hotel. I would never stay anywhere else in the area.

I did not realize Yelp was international until today…read more I have stayed at this hotel several times over a 25 year period for both business and vacations. I have always had nice rooms and great service. It is a smaller hotel with a nice family run atmosphere. I traveled back to Germany for the 1st time in 17 years. It was just as nice, immaculate and quiet as I remembered. It is close to Reutlingen, Tubigen and my friends so it was a great location for me. The prices were very reasonable compared to other area hotels. I can only hope to return again in the future
